Yes, didn’t he invent the telephone
The trouble is real strikers have natural ability and instinct, you can’t teach it , they either have the movement or they don’t.
Disagree. Sure, some take to it easier than others, but it can be coached, believe me.
Were you in the home end or away end at Stadium of Light last night Awaywego?
And what time did you get home? A19 has had night closures the last couple of weeks.
Cheeseman’s on Ravendale St?
Didn’t they take it over from Drinkwater’s or was it vice-versa?
Anyway, I used to go there, but never got a pudding basin cut!
I’ve never had a bet against Scunny, but the 10/11 is really tempting me tonight. An opportunity to almost double my money in 90 minutes seems an opportunity not to let pass
You never see a poor bookie frc!
Have you seen the future and spotted that Stockport will go up? :-)
He’s also seen the future and spotted Gateshead will go up!

York have a shiny new multi functional stadium.
Possibly something our owner should look into?

Yeovil Town anyone?
February 20, 2022 at 1:43 pm in reply to: Petition Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire Council #232380Scunthorpe Town may well be the name of the Phoenix club.
He’s a dirty tw**!
Tell he started off at Leeds!
Iron Trust want your views on stewarding: –
“We’ve also had comments about the stewarding at home games: some members have commented about the stewarding making matters worse on occasion. We’d like to have your views on this, particularly if you stand on the home end terrace as that is where the problems seem to be.”
Let them know at
When all your forwards are subbed and all your midfielders get carded, you know something ain’t right!
Pyke & Nuttall.
Sounds like a firm of solicitors.
Maybe they should re-train?
Was it so the “training ground injuries” would have a shorter distance to limp to the treatment room?

I’m going to have a vet on The Iron to beat Rochdale on Saturday.
Will they be putting that white canvas screen around the players at full time?
And will they be the only shots on target?

Shortest podcast to date.
“It’s all gone to shit hasn’t it?”
“Yes!”
“Right, I think we’ll leave it there. See you on the next one.”

To be relegated then, we’d need to be 12-15 points behind, which seems pretty likely given where we are now.
If we need to win our last 4/5 games to stay up I wouldn’t get too optimistic!
And some of us are just waiting til the maths takes over.
My Bantam mate reckons Grant McCann is in the running.
I’m planning for next season in NL.
The Netherlands?
There’s a middle ground where I believe people can still support the club and yet still be in opposition to the hierarchy.
Indeed. Which is why I wrote “seen as going against the club”.
An owner who says “this is your club” is different to one who says “this is my club”.
The former unites fans, the latter alienates them.

It is very hard to separate the two.
By supporting the club (in the way UTI99 talks about) you’re effectively supporting the ownership.
Go against the owner and you’re seen as going against the club.
That’s why it’s easy for Swann to blame the fans (just as easy as it is to blame Covid).
I can’t see anything changing for the better under his stewardship.

Ducked out of going to see Darlo v Chester yesterday.
PS it wasn’t at the “Reynolds” Arena!
How can he?
Because he loves to play devil’s advocate!

Delaney is a huge improvement on Taft. Feeney, Grant and co will be getting all the more fitter with each passing game.
Fair point, but scoring goals is still our main weakness.
Set piece goal on Tuesday, and probably the best we can hope for unless Nutall and Burns suddenly morph into *Toshack and Keegan!

A game we would have lost under Cox?
Discuss.

What has any of that got to do with the FACT that Oldham supporters attended the game and got behind their TEAM? Which is all I’ve ever asked Scunthorpe fans/customers to do.
And that’s just what they’ve done at the away games I’ve been to!
