    After all the doom and gloom at GP just thought it would be a change to have a bit of better football news to talk about, That is James Milner! Just had his 800th appearance in his football career.

    From a youth team player at Leeds to Liverpool via Aston Villa, Newcastle and Man City he has been a model professional, that has been totally committed to the career he loves.

    In the modern game I don’t think there will be many more players who achieve the 800 game mark, he is one of the most underrated players but he most be a managers dream never complains just gets on with the job wherever he is asked to play.

    Maybe if scunny players had a bit more spine that wouldn’t keep getting turned over so easily.

    He also came on as a sub in the 2003 FA Cup game when terry venables was the manager.
