Then we have to hope that on every remaining match day.

    Ain’t gonna happen!

“Eostre is reportedly a goddess celebrated by the ancient Germanic people.”

Goes back further than that. Ishtar was the Babylonian goddess of fertility.

Another tale hijacked by Christianity. At least we get a long weekend out of it!

Not many relegated clubs keep the same manager for the following season (unless your Grimsby … Neil Woods 2010/11).

Or Newcastle – Rafa Benitez 2016/17.

    National League is our purgatory.

The EFL hasn’t exactly been our heaven for the past four years!

    “I need a hero
I’m holding out for a hero ’til the end of the night
He’s gotta be strong, and he’s gotta be fast
And he’s gotta be fresh from the fight”

    Bonnie Tyler.

It is when you realise that tomorrow might well be the last time an Orient away trip happens for a while.

Were you saying that when they went out of the Football League in 2017?

You can find out exactly who Ian Sharp is by using that there internet. Just make sure you get the right one (hint: he’s not the one born in Clitheroe in 1946)

A quick shuftie at Jason Maza brought up this snippet: –

“Jason Maza net worth and salary: Jason Maza is a Movie Actor who has a net worth of $15 million.”

Which funnily enough is a tad over £11 million.

£500 to get the scoreboard fixed?

    And the Baldrick one…

My father was a nun. Whenever he was up in court and the judge asked “occupation?”, he’d answer nun!

Some of the best attacking football I have seen! Sharp was the darling but I loved Cleveland Taylor,

Andy Keogh was the player I loved watching.

That goal from the halfway line in the last minute at Carlisle was pure bliss!

“Same as numerous other clubs – The Fans”

You’d like to think so Pat, but it takes some organisation.

Who d’ya reckon would be the driving force?

it’s still going to be inconsolably painful to have that big red “R” next to our name.

I thought we would at least be the first club with the dreaded R. But Crewe beat us to that.

    And they’ve got 25pts!

Watched a few National League North games this season, and I’m afraid that most teams I have seen have considerably more idea than a Cox/Hill outfit.

There are a lot of tough old battlers out there. A lot of hard men in key positions and a good few youngsters with attitude.

We are in for a rude awakening unless we have a wholesale clear out and savvy recruitment.

    Not holding my breath!

    Swann, potential new “buyers”?

The season is petering out into a game of “Where’s Wally”.

Watching Chester at Gateshead yesterday. Depleted squad due to injuries but James Horsefield was still an unused sub.

Aye, we’ve signed some real quality of late!

Was at the Heed v Chester yesterday and would be very surprised if they didn’t get promoted this season either automatically or via the playoffs.

They move the ball about well on that big pitch, and know how to score goals.

If they don’t go up my nearest game next season will most likely be Halifax! Your southern based supporters will have much more choice.

Cribb and Beestin both scored on Tuesday.

We don’t want any of that nonsense in a league game do we?

Full focus should be on supporting the team, creating a good atmosphere that impresses the guys/girls in the directors box.

We tried that for years and got shat upon!
