Excuse me if I missed something. But when will the Eastleigh reply happen? I would like to book the time off to attend.

Perhaps taking a bigger interest than I should, I looked at Wealdstone fans forum.
Not only are their supporters claiming a penalty they are also claiming that Will Evans stamped on their injured player whilst he was on the floor.
Also claiming a handball leading up to Alfie’s goal.
Incredible eyesight from the other end of the stadium by their supporters, even better than the referee who was yards away.
If Andy Butlers account of events in his interview are true and I have absolutely no doubt they are then we will be awarded the three points without the need for a replay and Wealdstone should not only receive a large fine and point’s deduction, hopefully enough to send them to the bottom of the league.
Tinpot club with a clown for a manager.

Deffo tin pot, and trying to say that they should have been awarded a penalty during the match is clutching at straws. There is no VAR and the referees decisions are final. They didn’t get a penalty, and were instructed to finish the match. A big fine and points deduction, surely. This kind of behavior mustn’t be encouraged. Otherwise everyone will be at it!

I could understand what happened at Eastleigh, very nasty injury that was, and great care needed. But a dislocated shoulder, that was popped back in? Why did he even need a stretcher? I’ve seen jumps jockeys walking away with worse injuries. It’s a joke, and not a funny one.

I have been to Woking, just once. It was the first round of the FA Cup, and The Iron won it 0 – 1. Can’t remember the year. I do remember their fans trying to rush at us as we left the ground. So good luck Iron, beat those beggars again.

Under contract at Man Utd til 2028. Would have to be a loan AND surely they would expect him to be the Number One keeper.

Injured himself in training (hamstring), out for six weeks and still drawing his wages. No good to no one right now!

The best chippy’s always had queues and well worth the wait, particularly Carvers and Fish’s bottom of Ashby High Street. Good memories and excellent quality.

Whatever happened to the Hungry Fisherman? That used to be the best, back in the day.

Seeing as my old school got a mention…

There used to be a few really tough teachers a Foxhills, some better than others. My arch nemesis was Spearsy, I heard that he was still there over twenty years after I left.

    I went to Foxhills…left circa 1980-81
Spearsy was the tall fella .. other notables
    Robins Science Physics
    White Maths
    Hunt Art
Mr Ms Mclellen French Geography and ?
Can remember a few others by face but not name

blooming heck thats 45 yrs ago where have all those years gone !!

Robins could be quite a git on his day. Sue Hunt also taught English, lovely lady she was. Pete Wright was my form tutor and geography teacher. Bob (bastard) Johnson maths. Housham was engineering and metalwork. Best not mention Heavyside lol.

Can’t remember anyone else, I was always tagging it. Prescott was regularly at my house.

Ms Heavyside .. now thats a blast from the past she was a big lady.
    Loyd
    Johnson maths
PE got the face but not the name .. bit of a cock watcher at shower time

Only dealing I had with Heavyside was on my first day. She was trying to scare me, because I’d been expelled from High Ridge. I could hardly keep a straight face. I was only twelve but not exactly naive. Oh and I nearly forgot Devine, another git!

We had a ‘Beefy’ midfielder in the early 80s and he was rubbish

“England’s England’s number one!” Would be sung from the original DRE at the Old Show Ground. Happy days!

Will Brook was on loan to Farsley from Nottingham Forest.

Appears to be without a club. Could be signed, but is he good enough?

I know we had all the necessary resources to win that league, but that doesn’t make AB’s success in his first season any less of an achievement.

    Well done lad! UTI

What we could really do with is a really experienced midfielder, who has been there and done it all. A couple of younger guys to add energy, and some squad players with NL experience.

I can see Robertson and Whitehall scoring regularly enough if they get support. UTI

Well done to the all at SUFC.

Chester didn’t look great in it first half but very different second half.
Daft penalty by Evans to concede but he was immense today bar that.

    What was the attendance btw?

    UTI

I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find the attendance. It’s not even on the OWS!

It’s been strange, we have been the biggest fish in a small pond. Best gates, best ground, some great results. But that was National League North, it’s not going to be the same next season, or perhaps we will continue.

    I hope so UTI!!!

I don’t bother with that Facebook group/page whatever it is. Haven’t done for a long time. Criticism is ok with me but blind sycophancy is nauseating. They were way too far up the arse of The Iron’s previous chairman for my liking…

Slight odds on (10/11) to win this.

    Come on Iron!
