Hopefully this goes though and we can move on personally cannot see us staying up but staying in business is at least a beginning.
Agree , really hope this deal goes through , alas there isnt a quick fix ,with this current player roster cant see us staying up regardless but first priority is for the club to remain in business.

spotted this on YT
O P M
Other Peoples Money
As I was writing about Yates I suddenly realised he went to you guys after us.
And you also had Rodwell as CEO. Bloody hell we have similar paths.
Do you have any sort of trust / supporters group ? My thought is that if Hardy is going to buy the club you at least try and make the best of a bad situation.
I would demand a face to face meeting with him, try and get out of him transparency on where the money is coming from. Is he the front or is it just him? What lessons did he learn from his time at Notts and how would he go about this differently etc.
My main concern for you is where the money is coming from. That guy is just not rich enough to fund a club. Maybe 20 years ago he was when Clubs were owned by local businessmen but now you need someone to pump in £1m a year just to break even
Hardy was /is leading a consortium , investors thats where the money is coming from.
Still after hearing what Notts C fans have to say on his time there its not at all sounding favorable.
Can beggars be choosers ??
no news on what Hardy deal is based on .. how much offered and for what ???.. seems more top secret than the docs in Bidens garage.
Kenny rings a bell .. not sure if that was Kenny Titterton
i started going away regularly from 1981-2

Cant see anyone coming in … LT can lobby all he wants re the embargo but in the clubs current situation just who would want to come ?? maybe an aging injury prone loanee on the mend needing game time..
As previously mentioned thats Nuttal Apter and Lavery gone … they made up just about all goals scored ..that leaves who to play up front n find the net .. apart from the groundsman.Without Lavery and Shrimpton I suspect things will turn ugly soon and we could start getting hammered.
Lavery talking to Donny …re Shrimpton did i miss something ? injured or ?
a week or so ago it was all smiles and it this sale looked nailed (pics posted, podcasts and wages paid) .. obviously what we know now is that was all bollocks. The fact Sharpe n Co stated they were looking for more investors to join the consortium should of been enough evidence that at that time they didnt have the funds ie enough money to meet Swans price … seems these guys along with LT may have led the fans on a merry dance as its all turned to shite now.
Truth is only a hand full know the what has happened and the numbers involved and i most comments are at best guesswork or personal opinion like mine.
Doesnt alter the fact sadly its looking grimmer by the day as the clubs only positive way out are new owners and the clock is ticking.

lost at home again last time out and have plummeted down the table recently .. still im sure Scunny rolling up this Saturday will put a stop to that.
Prediction 1-1
Being a Scunny fan is depressing.. im gonna give Harry a call to get the number of his therapist.
I think Oldham was the last away win. Boxing Day 2021.
I had that in my mind .. 3-1 if i recall correctly … shocking stat.. doesnt time fly when yer having fun ..NOT
When did Scunny last win an away league fixture not pre season friendlies n tin pot cup games etc ?????
im so entangled with the off field stuff i cant recall.
re asking price of 3.3 mil
Any pointers to just how good or bad this number is when looking at other recent smaller football club sales ? i know the circumstances are different but as a ball park guesseimate.
Havent the lower league clubs below been sold recently
Oldham
Crawleyi really do feel sympathy for the manager n players / staff at SUFC ..but this situation has gone beyond what happens on the pitch the football is now a secondary issue with off field business and saving the club taking precedence.

Clusterfook is the word yer looking for Sir … one way or the other i just wish something concrete would get sorted … this state of limbo is toe curling and gonad shrinking.
@ SWAN n Turnbull .. please fuck off lets us die a dignified death to be reborn in a better place… the town needs a football club and it will have one just starting from scratch .. gotta be better than this current this n that bollocks.
After weeks of radio silence when statements and updates re the clubs circumstances were most definately needed Turnbull failed to deliver and now a peaceful protest and hes ordered to or not hes chirping away like an early morning songbird …
LT .. please stick with yer boss Swan ..leave with him and go clean out the race horse stables, yer just being used as mouth piece lakky ..have some pride man…yer a disgrace.

I do hope everyone who paid their tenner asked to be unsubscribed from their emailing list, (don’t know how you cancel a life membership) just like Turnbull not worth a w*** as they say.
I did exactly that on Friday in a reply to their email, calling them an embarrassment and letting them know that they should be ashamed to think they represent the fans. Absolute shambles of an organisation. Every single one of them should hang their heads.
Cant disagree with any of that ..
The fire sale begins ……… Buy one get Hallam free ??? ..
Good luck to the lad.

Does LT read this forum ?? if so even though hes in a tricky spot i hope he realizes this is the time to get his tongue out of Swans arse and in the name of pride take a hit even if it means he gets fired or steps down.
He must be either considering jacking in or hanging on for a few more salaries for being Swans rent boy puppet and judging by the most recent (Swan prepared) statement its the latter.
I find it hard to believe Nelson and the players were fazed n unhappy re the peaceful pitch protest ..they must realize just how sad and frustrated Scunny fans have become.

We was having the upper hand.Looking to fight back. After this the players lost the plot. The game came close
To be called off. Would they have paid the fine the club would have received from there pocket money ?Grow some balls Anderson, whilst people like yourself sit and boo the few guys proyesting at what that prick has done to our club over the past six or sewven years, you obviously back his actions by coming out with shite like that. Scunny were outplayed once again like they are every bloody week, and people like you appear to be happy with it.
@ Anderson .. We could still be playing now and not have scored .. the stats dont lie remind me again how many goal attempts did Scunny manage ?
This whole dreadful saga has got past the being a crap football side .. its about saving the club due to one mans greed selfishness and stupidity.. i for one cant see how any professional football player could give 100% memtally with all the sh8t thats going on off the feild .. lack of stability means players will be looking to jump ship asap not caring or playing with an desire .. with the exception of a few of the youngsters whom have come through the juniors etc and know nothing else.
Well done to the PEACEFUL PROTESTORS .. and those booing them or questioning their actions including Lee Turnbill should be ashamed.

Wow just read LTs bollocks … after working so hard and getting the trust and backing of the fans hes now blown it with this statement in which he fails in every way possible to see it from the fans side…preferring to deflect blame from swan thus keeping his position as errand boy.
Lee .. respected you for many years but alas you appear to have chosen sides .. after a total lack of fan updates on anything meaningful (only rallying cries for support) this latest statement should be your second last .. the next should be your resignation as you are not making one iota of difference to where this club is heading..
Claret n Blue running through yer veins .. my arse.

Have a look on scunny united fan group on Facebook if you haven’t already picture up of toppos tranny van hooligans photo at Osg setting off for Chester if your on there point yourself out. Happy days.
I dont do face book as like to keep information like my inside leg measurement , my diet and if im curcumsized or not private (i am 555)…….so can some one post a pic on here .. i was about in the days of Toppos mad van , also simmo and the lads , we used to rent a Leylad mini bus for away games .. Darlo i drove , Stoke i knew a few of the naughty 40 one lives near me now, Halifax i got arrested , 2 worst away days for it in my recollection were Nuneaton and Shrewsbury…
im a bit bladdered at mo been out in Bangkok trying to find a buyer for SUFC .. a few bizz colleagues here are well minted n love footy ..but swapping locations is the issue both weather wise n entertainment of the horizonal kind..

Watched the Maidenhead highlights for a second time .. a more lengthy vid and seems Scunny did play with a bit more drive , some slick passing lay offs and movement,, good finishing by Lavery especially the third… Now can this be reproduced on a regular basis and against a better team .. Maidenhead werent great but did still muster some decent opening and goal attempts.
Just who will find the net after Lavery departs is another issue .. he will be a big miss.
not Daniel but Lavery …. careless whispers that the codheads are after him .. now that would be a kick in the gonads
reading the match reports n fan comments seems like a decent display against an average side.
Sadly Lavery will move on at which point doesnt leave us with much of a goal threat.
One swallow doesnt make you sick .. i mean spring !!
dunno what sort of salary LT is on …but it aint enough to have to deal direct with Swan the snake on a regular basis…as most realize LT was only installed in the position to be Swans mouth piece so obviously he LT has to be wary what he can and cant say therefore batting for both sides (not in a homosexual way)… or running with the foxes and the hounds , fans being the fox trying to find out wtf is going on whilst Swan is a dog !!
Optimistic, we haven’t scored twice in a game since October.
Hope you’re right.Optimistic indeed i hear you … possibly brought on with a bit of late NY cheer and a few amber beverages… but im sticking to my 2-1 prediction.
