Yes a new owner will make our players turn into Messi, Ronaldo etc.
Cloud cuckoo land.e
Perhaps not, but a new owner might put a proper scouting system in place capable of signing players who are fit for purpose instead of relying on one of his lad’s to do it

I was there today. And how long is it since we last won a match uptheiron?

Ah yes it’s well known all those clubs relegated to the national league are in ‘extinction’ now.
Perhaps not, but a good few have had to start up again as Phoenix clubs following mismanagement by their owner’s. I’ve no desire to watch an AFC Scunthorpe team playing in the NECL

Maybe some of our fans need to experience 4 seasons in the National League before appreciating the EFL?
I think we’ll get the chance sooner rather than later

I am not keen on 3 at the back……
We are the home team and again it wasn’t football to win the missing fans backI don’t think we have much choice with the number of injuries we currently have and the quality of the squad
5 goals for Walsall and Newport last season in 30 appearances, and 5 foot 9 tall.
Professional career, 5 goals in 11 starts & 21 subs appearances.
That’s where the problems started! the day the chairman sacked graham for some reason only known to the two of them, it has been downhill ever since that day.
I find it amusing when supporters hark back and say its all gone down hill since Alexander was sacked. Let’s not forget that he was managing during a time when money was no object. Dropping players, playing players out of position and negative team formation ultimately led to a loss in form and his sacking. I don’t think there was too many fans sorry to see him go at the time. If still here, I doubt he would fair any better than Cox under the current restraints brought on from above.
Couldn’t knock the effort but dreadfully short of quality. Kenyon and Bunn don’t look fit. I just hope that Swindon are one of the better teams.
That’ll be John Staff. If true, shows the ever growing disconnect between club and supporters

Hopeful punts rather than players with any sort of pedigree
Well, as people know, I don’t think Hippo is as poor as many make out – but I do know he’s no FB!
You must be seeing something nobody else can see
Actually, yes

It’s a shame that our last ever game as a football league club is away at Bristol Rovers

We’ve a wealth of attacking talent. Let’s use it and get the ball forward quicker to put teams on the back foot. This slow tippy tappy side to side football just invites the opposition to get everyone back behind the ball. If we go down, at least we’ll have given it a go
I am still unsure about Spence and Beestin to be honest.
Too right. It was painfully obvious that central mid-field was lacking last season. Cox must get his recruitment right in this area if we are to progress next season. Problem is we are about 9 players short of a half decent team and I doubt the budget will stretch that far.
I doubt they’ll be the only ones
Can’t see this shower winning another point this season. Just hope we’ve enough points in the bag. Just listening Swan on the radio. It’s all Covid’s fault. Doesn’t seem to have affected anyone else

Only if one or more of them are leaving which seems unlikely
Do we really need another Loft type of striker
He’d make a good politician
Assuming we still have a club. What will his strategy be for next season. Promotion back into the league at the first attempt or a season of consolidation with the bonus of more exciting and attacking football
Jarvis record is equally as bad. Played 109 games, he’s scored 20 goals. 14 of those were scored for Basingstoke Town in the 2016-2017 season.
In the 3 years before he signed for us he played 52 games and scored 4 goals. 3 of those were in 25 games for Sutton United and the other 1 he scored for Hemel Hempstead Town on loan. 1 goal in 6 games.
Turan’s record was even worse. When I looked it was even worse than I feared.
I mean come on….is this where Swann see’s us now ?
Makes you wonder about some peoples judgement. If a player cannot score goals at a lower non league level, what makes them think they will score consistently in league 2?
No Onariase, no McAtee, no Eisa, no Jarvis.
No hope
Would have been better asking Jeeves
Who would be paying for Cedwyn Scott?
No thanks. We need to sign experienced pros not more punts from the lower non league
One of the half time divot replacement team maybe?
Looks a decent team on paper. I doubt that half of them will be available with our fitness record
A bit naughty perhaps, after all I find keepers do need a few games to show their best form but equally I can’t think of many keepers who’ve had a worse debut for the Iron.
Nigel Batch?!
