I may have missed something but why the animosity towards Max?
It’s nice to see the club back in the hands of local people who have an emotional attachment to the club. I’m confident that given time, they’ll turn the clubs fortunes around

And where do you think they’ll get £3 million plus from?
Thanks for clariflying Siderite
I hope theres no truth regarding Hilton’s continuing involvement. It would certainly fly in the face of yesterday’s club statement
October 4, 2023 at 4:33 pm in reply to: This saga is unending but I hope it resolves like this #274592So it’s suddenly okay for someone who served both Swann and Hilton to take over the club is it?
Blimey, she’s only owned the club a few hours. Give her a chance

4 games since we last won.
4 games since we last scored more than a solitary goal.Injuries and suspensions have certainly knocked us out of our stride

yet fans clapping hillton through the window of his roller
stockholm syndrome or what?
i am resigned to what is to come and prepared myself as such but many cannot see the wood for the trees
wake up to what is happening at sufc
idiots like turnbull and chief lickspittle waters are going to die on the hillton hill
wake up clappers before it is too late
we are sleepwalking to oblivionPerhaps “idiots” like Turnbull and Waters are trying to help steer the club through what will undoubtedly be choppy waters ahead. If you don’t agree, perhaps you should rally the supporters ironeye and come up with a credible rescue plan. I’m sure your inside knowledge will be invaluable

I’m hoping County Court judges are
A hard fought 1-1 draw for me as well. This league won’t be the walkover some people think it’ll be
True, but it doesn’t help when people help fan the flames
A decision approved by the new board of directors? Or perhaps not
Oh dear, I can’t say it was unexpected

Hilton really needs to come off social media if he is sensitive to criticism and so called negativity. I’m afraid it comes with the territory. I’ve no doubt the club would have folded without his financial input and for that, I’m greatful. The initiative to bring local directors/supporters onto the board is also a positive in my opinion. However, as long as we still have the elephant in the room, namely, the current stadium ownership issue and an unrealistic timescale for a new stadium it’s not unreasonable that supporters will continue to seek answers

hillton can pull wool over some eyes with these signings but he can’t pull wool over mine
the fuse is lit. all we can do now is sit back and watch the fireworks
but it is not going to be pretty
will we even will start the season?
strap on gentelmen for it is about to blowFfs, give it a rest. You’ve been predicting armageddon for weeks yet we are signing players and there is no reason to believe we won’t start the new season at Glanford Park. If your guesses are right and if does go tits up, there’s absolutely nothing me, you or any other supporter can do about it.

I’ll be surprised if we aren’t outright favorites. I wouldn’t put my money on us though.

I don’t see any concern from Cods fans on The Fishy. Just bystanders watching a car crash slowly unfold. Unfortunately, I generally agree with what they are saying and I can’t see things ending well
Interesting that none of the posters that apparently have “good sources” and “insider information” gave any prior warning of the purchase. Make of that what you will

The players must be on performance related pay

If they’re all full time, which we’re told they will be, I’d hope they’ll be motivated for every game!
They weren’t motivated this season, why should next season be any different?

When interviewed by Radio Humberside, Hilton said the “deal” was for the stadium and land surrounding the stadium
So the answer to your question us no

Staying full time will help, however, we will have some tough competition with the likes of Chester, Darlington, Kidderminster and an ambitious South Shields. With only one automatic promotion spot, our stay down there could be a long one
