Noticed today that Hippolyte, Turan, Vincent and the keepy uppy king El-Mhanni all share the same agent, ‘Ask Godders’. With that in mind, I’d strongly recommend that we don’t ask Godders for any of his players ever again.

There must be a link to the club somehow to keep using this agent allowing him to offload his rubbish onto us. These things are never as they seem

Might be interesting to know the names of the partners/directors?

I believe Only director before being struck out at companies house was a Godfrey Torto.

Checking Transfermrkt there seems to be no agent listed as “Ask Godders”.
I think ‘interesting’ is one way of describing it.

Looks like he fixed five players up in the summer and three came to us!

Torto must be a friend of the Swanns. All of the players he claims to have made the grade have been second rate at best and most have ended up here. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone at Scunthorpe was a director of ask godders. Time to call it a day Mr Swann, were sick of your cronyism and incompetance.

Godfrey Torto was never a Chelsea player,he was unsuccessful at academy level and never got anywhere near the first team.

So basically we are engaging with chancers or worse in our great quest for these exciting players – I see he has links to e-sports/e-scouting – says it all about the management and board of the club really.

J charles, who cares. I think you’re missing the main point here.

Swann did say he got rid of Turnbull because he was using other sources for players, obviously this fella was one of them.

This is what you get when you have a chairman who sticks his nose in to areas of the club he shouldn’t be venturing in.

Now we’re stuck with utter crap.

This supposed clued up transfer committee signed 4 strikers, 3 of them probably not fit enough to grace non league and one in Loft who’s average.

Cordner and Vincent are both crap. Taylor was a pointless signing to start with.

Then you have Cox who signed probably the worst player I’ve witnessed since Tomi Ameobi.

    Step forward Mr Hippolyte.

This is why scouting systems are there in the first place, to safeguard against this circus.

Only upside is Taylor, Cordner and Vincent could easily be sent back.

Butroid ,Hallam and Olomola are soon to be out of contract so they may be fairly easy to shift you would have thought.

Answers on a postcard how we shift on Jarvis, Turan and Hippolyte who are all on 2yr contracts.

Yeovil may come back for Hippolyte on loan but who the feck are going to go near Turan and Jarvis ?

‘’ after not being deemed good enough non-league club Barnet, El mhanni and Vincent had the last laugh’’

    Yes, at our expense.

At least this is starting to clear things up about why we are signing so much shit during the last couple of years. What’s your bets godders has some connection to the Swann’s or rodders.

Be interesting to get Lee Turnbull on the podcast for his thoughts.

This is what you get when you have a chairman who sticks his nose in to areas of the club he shouldn’t be venturing in.

If the chairman is funding the signings then he has every right to stick his nose in.

However, he should trust his coaching staff to identify areas where the squad needs strengthening and his scouts to source possible new players.

The whole thing smacks of complacency. Doing the clubs recruitment on the footballing equivalent of eBay doesn’t sound ideal.

Chairmen should be there to sign off on deals in the background, not there to decide on footballing matters and making a decision not to go with a scout due to thinking that they know better.

This is what has caused all this crap. Cox signing Hippolyte just goes to show if he had a war chest who the feck he’d be signing.

Then to top it off we signed a relation of Swann for the scouting.

just been chatting to Lee, got a new job as Head of Recruitment at Bradford City, he told me he wouldn’t have signed some of the players we signed and will hopefully do a podcast in a month or two.

There was an interesting article in Bradford Telegraph and Argus which included comments from Hurst why he walked out, and it was clearly due to the way the club was run.

PS told me over the weekend that Hurst and Doig were both sacked and that he is still paying them off.

You’d like to think if they land the Bradford job we can stop paying them.

I think that’s how it works, maybe why sacked managers don’t rush to get another job until their paid-up contract is running out.
