I’d assume a lot are on short term contracts and will move on as the team is strengthened
I used the far end turnstiles at the DRE. No queues and my season ticket kept in my Google Wallet worked fine
Somehow, I dont think the game would have been abandoned if Wealdstone had been 2-1 up

Interestingly, excluding last season, the Unity badge was only used from 1982 to 1990. The current badge has been in use since 1994. Can’t really say I’m bothered either way
Yes, it was a fantastic game even though we eventually lost. Wilson was a class above everyone else on the pitch

No, but the money from their sale would be handy
You’d expect that the new keeper we bring in as cover has the necessary experience to step in if Maison needs a break
Yeah, forgot about Carlisle!
Now Oldham out of the way, I reckon we can still make 3rd with a half decent season
Read a report of Bayern thrashing Auckland City 10-0 early in the tournament then promptly forgot about it until now
9th July
What on earth was the Turan signing all about? 2 year deal based on what? Very strange.
He finished last season playing in the Bulgarian 1st Division. Must have a brilliant agent
Gone are the days of the special promotion supplement
Unfortunate, but I dare say the road closure has been planned for months
Oh dear indeed

Look on the brightside. Promotion is still in our own hands. We just need to win two playoff matches!

If they end up playing us in the final I’d say yes

Bernard Griffin is a legend and top bloke, well done
I’ll second that
From the 1st whistle on the floor, neat and sharp passing and the passes in front of the runner.
Down the side and crosses or at pace running in on goal and shots from 20 – 30 yds out with front men waiting for rebounds.
If only it was that simple!
… Carlton barely looks interested.
On the contrary. Shields were in the ascendency after he came on and he was feeding off scraps. However, he chased down everything and wasn’t afraid of putting his head in where it hurts. I still think there’s a player in there but he desperately needs a break
…. “the sole aim of the group is to raise funds for the football club by open and transparent ways”..
I’m at a loss as to why anyone would pay £10 to be a member of a fund raising group

I remember the game. Elton was indeed sat in the stands. The bloke on the pitch was an imposter dressed as him
Game off!!
Could have played New Years Day afterall

Was Scales worth his place, today?…..
Was worth his place simply for the last ditch tackle near the end that stopped a near certain goal.

Old news
Why, are we short of centre halves?

I thought the question was why are we full time professionals.
If we went part time, we would be able to attract the best part time players with the funds available. We would be a massive attraction to the best part time player. If this is what we get with full time players, then part time(at this moment in time ,is the way to go,in my opinion. The flaw in your argument is part time players, generally, will be unwilling to travel far for matches and training. Therefore, we’ll be restricted to signing players from the immediate area

So the players we signed with our own money, that we can actually afford, might not be as good as the ones for whom a previous owner “paid” massively over the odds for? Well, that’s a big surprise.
Grow up, get behind the team, have a look at the league table, and support the club that we so nearly lost.
Agreed, however, it doesn’t stop the manager playing a system to get the best out of the players at his disposal. In my opinion, the current league position is simply papering over the cracks and I suspect we won’t remain top for much longer without a rethink.
In addition, the fact we nearly lost our club shouldn’t be used as an excuse to accept mediocrity.

Passing and decision making can be poor at times, however, we need to remember that the players are regional football standard. If they were better, they’d be playing higher up the football pyramid

£3,375 prize money if we win and £1,125 if we lose. Seems a long time since we last won a cup match
