They’re used to a non-mobile, non-goalscoring centre forward so fits the bill for them well.

I’d be very interested to know who thought he was the man for us in the first place?
Makes you wonder about how much they actually know about the game.. lol

Thought he would be a useful signing for us after seeing him the previous year, then again I thought Keith Hill would keep us up….

Looks like he was playing CM behind their main forward.

Do you remember that dramatic last minute lights on at GP when we signed a player – wasn’t he from Wrexham ? Cannot remember his name but he was far worse than Beck. At least Mark Beck tried and ran about the other was idle.

But on his start debut scored then created and MOM so credit to him.

Clearly a good fit for a non-footballing team such as Alfreton

I remeber a kid (Italian I think) from Cardiff who looked like he’d never played football before.
Also Richard Hodgson (IIRC) signed by Brian Laws, subbed at HT and never seen again.

    Haha Andrea Ferretti!

Lol, 19 clubs, approximately one a year since he started in 2004. The very definition of ‘journeyman’.

Lol, I remember when I got told I sounded like Tim Lovejoy for using the term ‘footy’. Some slurs you don’t ever forget.

I’m an advocate for ‘footy’. It’s what we always used growing up and still do to this day.

Never said ‘footer’ and very rarely heard ‘togger’ being used.

“Footer” was an old Victorian term. Only CT old enough to remember it.
