Very true, the irony of the season being cancelled after another lifeless derby day performance…….
Cox said he has to work extra time just with him. All the expert summarisers says he has to do more Cox says he has to more – he doesn’t do more he is garbage.
It is close between Hippolyte and Loft and Jarvis as the worst players ever to play for the club and there is some mighty competition in that
O’Malley is a bizzare one – if Cox watched the first half and thought the answer was Jarvis and Loft (there is never a question where the answer is those two donkeys) then presumably he wanted to get crosses in the box. O’Malley I would say is the best crosser in the club but he left the non footballer on whose contribution was to dribble the ball out into touch
Fairly certain he would’ve lost the competition to play with that shower yesterday…..
Back to his normal level. really poor, not a league footballer
we’ll be waiting for these exciting players to turn up.
Chief Scout will sort it, as long as its not a school night, bed early
Howard 5 getting more and more rooted to his line – more nervous probably worried about the defence
Clarke 4 – 3 points for the goal otherwise very very poor
Onariase 6 looking leggy and tired, not his fault
Bedeau 5 a bit all over the place, scratchy performance
Hippolyte 5 very poor positional sense when defending, better when being positive- actually tries to beat his man
Gillead 4 not his game tonight, tries hard but no end product
Spence 5 average game
Beestin 5 again quite average – when tires looks very weak on the ball
Eisa 6 needs to stop taking corners, redeemed himself with the cross for the goal
McAtee 7 star man, got involved a lot more wanted to get on the ball
Loft 3 poor once againHallam 2 does very little
Jarvis not a footballer, if playing for Sunday league then I’d give him a 3
Cox 3 Still not his fault that we have too many players not suited to professional football but he has to alter his thinking. That game, result aside, was really bad. Couldn’t string 4 passes together, front line garbage and isolated.Howard 5 gets rooted to his line too much
Rowe 5 slipped for the goal and could’ve been a bit tighter
Onariase 8 solid as ever
Bedeau 7 should’ve scored
OMalley 7 decent
Gillead 5 poor today
Eisa 4 would be nice for the other Eisa to turn up
Spence 6 gave the ball away for the goal
Beestin 6.5 played OK
McAtee 6 – thinks he’s better than he is – if he doesn’t learn when to pass for the benefit of the team nobody will buy him
Loft 4 poor control, passing, awareness, link play. If it’s just about effort 7, but its not.Subs Green 4 ineffective, Jarvis 3 a target man who can’t win or direct headers – another one of Swann’s exciting prospects who is dog turd.
Taylor 3 his shot sums up his time at the clubCox 4 half time talk worked wonders
Cannot believe we had no shots on target, no shots on target!!!
Against the worst team. This is diabolical it really is. No striking options – Loft not good enough consistently, Jarvis – just give up football please.
Eisa looked garbage Gillead looked to be carrying a knock, Green ineffective. What did Cox say to them at half time for them to come out and not give a shit?
Howard 6 nothing to do
Clarke 6 looked leggy few good runs imagine will be rested for next match
McGahey 6 worrying injury
Onoraise 8 solid as ever
OMalley 8 hell of a left foot. Sorts out his positional defending and we’ll sell him for £1m
Beestin 7 tidy enough
Spence 7 tidy enough
Taylor 4 offered very little and did not play well at all
Jarvis 3 not a very good footballer. Bad first half anonymous second
Gillead 8 good runs tried hard to push the team on
Green 6 had his marker booked in first half then did nothing after that, decent shot but overall disappointing.Loft 8 played well and was at the heart of everything
Eisa 4 doesn’t look great at home games for some reason
Rowe 6 steady
Bedeau 7 played wellJarvis is garbage – really poor version of Loft – cannot hold play up link play up, gets out muscled and offered nothing up front. KVV or maybe McAtee on it would’ve been a different story. Soft goal to concede but entertaining game uo to about 60 minutes then we just fizzled out
If not tired then same team 4-4-2 maybe swap out Clarke for Rowe and rest Eisa for Green. Hopefully KVV can get a few minutes into his legs.
Will be a tough game Colchester are a good side.
He was saved from a disparate minority intent on causing trouble. He got separated from his disparate group intent on causing trouble. You will always get these types. That shouldn’t detract from a peaceful sign of solidarity these players choose to do. The amount of ‘fans’ triggered by this just shows there is still a long way to go. Believing these players are supporting some marxist conspiracy is nonsense and kind of self defeating.
Just search ‘Casey Goodson’ and see what they are taking the knee for.
from himself
Lewis Hamilton is either a well paid tax dodger or he takes the knee in support of a marxist movement??? I think this is the point of BLM – other drivers took the knee but lets focus on Hamilton – I wonder why??
Those against the BLM movement point to some chav trying to burn the flag but miss the gym instructor risking his own safety to save one of those far right dicks.
Who would you get rid of? I think Swann has to change his ridiculous strategy of no contract talks because half the squad are out of contract very soon.
I would look to call Bedeau’s agents bluff and see if these offers exist. Use the money to bring in two more
Vincent Cordner need to go back, Hornshaw out on loan – not good enough for first team yet. Hippolyte, Turan, Jarvis, Mooney, Dales, Olomola, these players don’t change the game for the better or offer anything different (and are poor cover).
Howard 7 needs to come out more
O Malley 7 solid good performance great cross – see what happens when you overlap!
Onoraise 8 Never seems to get less than an 8!
McGahey 8 Solid forming great partnership will Onoraise
Clarke 7 steady match did well
Spence 8 Good performance needed the rest
Beestin 8 as above
Eisa 9 very lively good finish constant threat
Gillead 9 maybe 10 Great game MoM
McAtee 8 game time starting to make a difference
Loft 8 Not as isolated played wellHarrogate were shit but not as shit as the local commentators
Completely agree with OP. 4-4-2 just f***** works!!! Keep with it. Setting up to counter the opposition has not worked for us, the players look lost with these ridiculous formations/ inept changes. This is all at Swann’s door but the focus will soon be on Cox if he can’t manage properly.
Let’s see what tonight brings
I’m going with 4-5-1 with lost loft up front or the notorious 3-5-2 which becomes 5-3-2 within 3-4 minutes
Ridiculous, 23 yr old with no experience of playing the game, gets employed by daddy as a chief scout of a professional football club. The club’s gone….
The closest thing I can think of to this is George Weah’s nephew being signed by Sounness for Southampton
Do you have a permit to fish these waters?
Howard 6 Distribution needs work and should be more aggressive when crosses come in
Brown 5 looked tired and off it
Bedeau 4 poor game, far too loose in possession
Onariase 7 solid again
McGahey 7 as above – beggars belief we don’t play a back 4
Gillead 8 when he got further forward always found space and made some wonderful passes but got pushed to RB too often purely because of stupid formation
Beestin 5 looked tired and weak in possession
Spence 5 few sloppy passes in midfield, over run completely. Had chance to set up Olomola but chose to shoot – which was nearer the corner flag than the goal
Eisa 5 tried hard against experienced full back but seemed to be unsure about role in first half
Green 7 thought he dis well and used his pace with effect
Loft 5 still not good enough for league 2 but we are stuck with these group of Swanny shit strikersCox 3 Changed a formation that worked well into something that offered no threat and got overran – couldn’t see what a blind man could see in first half.
He needs to up his game more than any other. Not liking these tactics 4-6-0
pretty much bang on my marks except I would give Beestin MoM, thought he was outstanding
I’m waiting for him to align his strategies across his business and become a jockey/croupier
Chariman do have to hire and fire managers – usually as a function of results, not always; but very few chairman, if any, become so wrapped up in their own self importance as to undertake actions that destroy the very thing they hold stewardship over – I cannot recall any chairman deciding, with his closed shop family boardroom to pick and buy a whole squad of players without any footballing input. Maybe the odd player (as Rob mentioned) but 10-15 players – shit players at that – it goes beyond the pale. Now 3-5 of those players could develop if allowed to learn alongside experienced pro’s but not at this club. If we wait until January we’ll have sunk
Cordner suspended thank god, should not be anywhere near the first team
My team would be
Howard
Rowe Onariase Bedeau Brown
Gillead Greene McAtee Spence
Olomola KVV4-4-2 which could switch 4-3-3
I’m guessing the manager wants a ‘big man’ so no doubt he’ll go with one of Swann’s starlets.
If season starts now then they need to win, although I predict 3-0 win to Oldham
Just listened to it – bang on with everything he said.
Swann will destroy this club
Most of these players preferred position is on the bench or U23’s football.
Laws we won some cup games in between. Worst run in history in all comps was broken tonight
listened to Swann and the take away’s were;
COVID only affecting him
the fans wanted itthe bloke is on a different planet, the ego is taking us down.
So much talk is complete drivel, complaining about the number of managers, still thinking the players he picked are anywhere near good enough. Pathetic
