Cox takes Loft off who has had NO support and puts Eisa on,so still playing one upfront even though we are 1-0 down STRANGE

Cox woefully incompetent at this level and now Swann chooses this manager to stand by after his sackathon of the past 5 years.

Swann will take us down and won’t even be bothered about it

Cox needs to go, we’re going down without a fight and with zero strikers on the pitch whilst one nil down against a relegation rival! It really is embarrassing.

“we forget we are playing an excellent side and need to adjust to nullify them. Cox will so pleased not to concede to a side below us”

This is the problem, Cox thinks everyone is a good side and sets up accordingly.
Even the Cumbrian commentators suggest we should have been attacking more from the start.

Its pathetic now, Brown suckered and sent off, from someone’s hobby to a joke of a football team.

fail to see where another point will cone from. Did Cox actually believe his own rhetoric when he said we would attack!!?

If cox isnt sacked then Swann has lost complete interest in the football club. Playing for a 0-0 every week is not goimg to encourage anyone to pay to watch anymore games never mind pay for another season ticket for next season

i wonder which coaching course Cox went on when the idea was suggested when you go a goal down you take your striker off? Perhaps he left the room when they said replace the one isolated striker with 2 strikers

Actually we’ve shown more going forward now than when Loft was on.

    Today’s buzzword is EMBARRASSING.

I have to agree, and doubt very much if I can be arsed to spend another tenner. I might as well watch last Tuesday’s or today’s game again.

Will wait until I’ve had a beer and calmed down before posting re: manager and chairman!

Having read all the comments up to now doesn’t sound very good, but on the positive side we only lost a point to most sides.

That was dire in the extreme. I’d drop Loft as it consciously or subconsciously makes us just lump the ball up. I’d play Green and Eisa in a 442, they’re no Hayes and Hooper but I feel they may keep the ball between them better and change our style of play for the better.

I would normally agree with you, but when that “striker” is Loft he shouldn’t be on the pitch at all.

unless their is a ‘new’ striker this week then next game Cox will sadly revert back to Loft. And will bemused why doing the same thing each week gets the same results. Football is so simple decent keeper and then 3 pairs down the middle and yet its beyond Cox

The “tactics” he uses every match is one striker up front who doesn’t win any of the constant long balls up to him, and he fails to close down ANY of the opposition players. No shots at goal or chances.

We played better with 10 men and at least they tried to pass the ball to each other on the ground.

But why play for draws when there are 3 points for a win? Why play for draws against crap teams?

It’s definitely the manager, there are still a few decent players in the team, but the tactics are hopeless.

It almost seems like wilful incompetence on Cox’s part now.

If that is what he is telling them to do then he is a moron and nothing can be done to change that.

If they are delivering that shit when that is not what they are being instructed to do then stop picking the same ones every week and chuck in the few who do listen with the under 18’s who seem to have a bit of spirit.

We’ll probably still go down but that seems inevitable at this point and at least the kids might put up a fight.
