About now I think…I’m sat watching yet another miserable performance from one of the worst teams I ever seen in a Scunthorpe United kit.

As soon as he started bandying ideas around re: new stadiums and Championship football.

If confirmatory evidence were needed it came via his spat with NLC. The icing on the cake has been the last few transfer windows. Culminating in appointing his son head scout.

Sorry Peter, I’ve tried to say positive and supportive, but it looks like the branch is about to snap!

We cannot get rid of him until the completion of one of his proposed stadiums is up and running and we are playing in the Championship. Plus the fact that he now own’s the club , the ground and all the associated land, it is not a question of getting rid of him, it is that he has got rid of us fans.

My my, alot of fans were more than happy to have Cox as manager, and then advocating Swanny go get Lillis to make the dream team, Walter. You wanted Swanny to let Cox do it his way,is this still what your advocating?.

threatening to take fans to court
    banning food and drink
    decimating back room staff
    appointing ridiculous CEO’s
appointing baby boy as chief scout
    picking the players himself
    sacking managers for fun
    falling out with lakes developers
    as above N Lincs council
as above land owners for new stadium
saying police changed kick off times
boardroom full of non football family members
    ex players slagging him
    ex managers slagging him
constant whining about covid only affecting him.
    strategy to only get youngsters
blaming fans for the strategy above

he needs to put feelers out to sell not just say who is going to buy it – there are interested parties out there (for footy clubs). But he owns the land and will want a return so he’ll put us into non league and then fold the club and develop the land.

If we drop out the league I just cannot see us surviving

Harsh reality is that Swann in my opinion came here to pad out his property portfolio with the ground development, but subsequently fell out with the council…fell a bit out of love with spending money and has now pretty much given up on the club.

Hence why we are where we are. That’s just my opinion. I’m not saying that’s the case but just what I think may have gone on here.

You don’t sign players like Turan and Jarvis if you have even an ounce of ambition left as a chairman.

I stuck their records on here few days back, it’s beyond a joke.

I said Swann playing real life football manager with the club would result in this. Anybody with half a brain cell could see this coming.

How many times were fans getting on at Humberside to tell him about recruitment and every time he brushed it all off with his “I know best attitude” and now look !

The fans didn’t have a say. Maybe next time he should ask the fans for suggestion than he can blame them.
He is already blaming fans for wanting young players.
    It is his mess
