San Fran – we aren’t going to get 27yr old with 200 goals. We’ve got to look at the club wanting to keep him and his time with solid league clubs. Plus it’s competition for places and hopefully cheap/free.

They have a performance like BS in them, just like they have a performance like Darlington in them. This doesn’t mean Dean gets forgiven for the set up. We won’t face another team like BS other than, maybe Gloucester on the final day when they’re already down. It’s challenges like Spennymoor which interest me and how they set up and play against a form team – of which we will no doubt face in the playoffs.

You can have your away game at the final hopefully. I don’t see us winning away to one of the sides up there.

We will make it to the playoffs but it’s 2nd or 3rd that we need for home advantage (as I think it works). Any lower and it’s away from home and we won’t go through

Maybe the board are not concerned with another season in this league.
I don’t know how much more of this standard of football and officiating I could take.

We’re not getting promoted with Dean. The board may be too concerned with off field matters to focus on this, I don’t know but this will backfire – maybe the old sporting adage of giving them one too many not one too few games is where they’re at

Sounds like we may be sticking with this magic formula for the short term. Let’s see how these full time professionals play against a team who are devoid of belief.

Local trusted journo seems to know something is going on. If a new person is coming in then the first game on paper looks an easy one or do the board wait and do we waste another game on these tactics (which aren’t working and aren’t changing). Had a dream last night that ACG came back, although Jonny Bairstow was playing for us as well so don’t hold much hope out

On the subject of kitchens – I was told they share a drain with Macdonalds and that the drains were blocked around their premises so the kitchens were out of action until cleared.

This always happens towards the end of a manager’s usefulness (in terms of the players). Look at Darlington early in the season to now

Whitehall always seems a bit disinterested with it all. I don’t think he’s happy here. We have 3 strikers out with other clubs who are scoring and we have two left in the club who can’t be bothered or couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo, but they’ve playing in a system which just leaves them on their own

The players just don’t listen to him anymore. We’ve all had those occasions at work where somebody gets promoted or has a senior role and you think how tf is this guy in this role. Problem is respect soon dissipates and you’re left with a dead duck. This is where I feel we’ve got to. JD keeps saying they aren’t doing what he tells them to, he takes the blame which is a credit to him but we’re in serious danger of missing out on promotion – and I can guarantee we won’t go up with Dean here. The board need to have a pause on pleading with local
Businesses to provide free stuff (just for a few days) and get this sorted. 7,500 fans through the gates then 3 days later this…..

This formation hasn’t worked for a long time now. Been found out, Dean too daft to change anything. We are not getting out of this league with Dean simple as that.

Back to slow laboured build up, Whitehall isolated. Being shown up by part timers again – need to massively improve

Misunderstood – I want the directors to tell Dean how important it is to entertain / and the golden opp we have to get £10-15k a fortnight extra revenue. There aren’t any directors I would trust to pick the side – but I would expect one of them to try and inspire them to entertain.

This is the test for Dean as well as the players. There should be no further motivation needed. Most of these players won’t get an opp like this again. If they can’t get up for this then football isn’t for them.

One of the directors needs to get into Dean and tell them one up top and then replace one up top with one up top won’t bring them back. The chance to get these people back is through entertaining football. An extra thousand on the gate week on week will make a huge difference. The locals have put faith in the club it’s time to repay it.

Just been on website and had to queue for tickets, sounds promising! Looking at seats available I reckon about 400 left probably nearer 300, could be close to the record I reckon, be good if we sold out Britcon.

    In summary
Convicted fraudster, perpetual liar and club destroyer turned Omelette wants people to listen to him so uses his 7th 8th or whatever David monicker it is this week to try and peddle his utter nonsense. Nothing else to see here

As a lifelong Scunny fan positivity is always in short supply, I think we’ll stumble into the playoffs and lose but on paper we should win at home and take at least 3 wins away. This slump means we’ve got no chance of catching Tamworth. I just want out of this horrible horrible league and my hope is we find a way in the playoffs and an easy run in might just give us some kind of form. It’s the hope that kills.

Elliot can’t play that role Dean is trying to get him to do. He’s far too weak to hold up play and his first touch is awful.
Worst 45 mins of season, Dean probably saved for another game by Evans.

Manager’s job to ensure the team spirit remains. He’s lost the dressing room with his one dimensional approach and favourites. However the players must shoulder responsibility for being outplayed in most recent games by part timers. I would be embarrassed as a professional in my field to be consistently bested by hobbyists.

The players have turned stale – even the keeper is playing shite at the minute. I link this to the management – this is reinforced by the new chap Maclinden – hasn’t been tarnished with the current culture and played OK, the others just seem to be going through the motions but he was the only one who stood out on Tuesday

Could the board look at how the management is set up? Would Dean, if offered, look at a different role in the club (I don’t know his strengths but must have some). Why not persuade Laws to manage for the last 10 games, he still lives local and has links to the club. Maybe he’s been out the game too long and doesn’t want the hassle – the board must be considering its options. I do agree that we won’t be bringing anybody in on a wage whilst JD is still here/under contract but the simple thing is we won’t be going up with him in charge – so it’s over to the board what they want to do.
