Have to say am a little relieved at the outcome but what does seem wrong is that the red card still stands even if its as if the fixture never took place. Surely that isn’t right?

It’s completely right, the game was abandoned due to serious weather conditions late in the game, that doesn’t absolve the Buxton player who flattened Whitehall illegally when the game was still being played in glorious sunshine, get a grip he broke the laws of the game and will face sanction as a result, perfectly correct in every way IMO.

I wonder what the referees assessor made of it all?, I would like to see that particular referee stood down while his competence on several fronts regarding his interpretation of the games rules is brought into focus, he was beyond awful in so many aspects of his refereeing on Saturday.

I get some of your points III and your entitled to them of course but as I posted earlier are we privvy to what is a mental state or a victim card, I think personally it’s a tough call but I will be clear on one thing, Swann it seems was about to let the club die, Hilton came in and rescued it from that fate, now how things pan out in the future is up in the air but the fact the club is still operating is down to Hilton and not the previous owner who appeared was quite prepared to see it fail when he’d had enough, I’m just hoping Hilton in his mental state at the moment isn’t contemplating the same thing although he said he expected the club to go from strength to strength. As always, it’s wait and see time and we all need to keep our fingers 🤞

I wonder how the directors and fans of the sham 89 club are feeling today?

Are you privvy to what the directors already know or have known for awhile, do you attend board meetings, are you a director? I’m guessing not and what they are thinking or feeling isn’t relevant it’s what actions they take as a board in the future that will probably determine how we hope to progress as a club going forward. Whatever the outcome from today’s statement the future of the club should be at the forefront of all people genuinely interested in the future of SUFC, second guessing isn’t going to be constructive IMO but hey you think and feel what you want.

He’s admitted to not being truthful about his time in prison and I’m sure he now regrets his statements he has made in the past but either way and whatever your viewpoint we need our club to move forward and I don’t think he will be staying for long from his tone in the interview, hope I’m wrong but I think he’s going.

Broken man? It was a sob story, looking for sympathy, do you think a leopard can change it’s spots?

Is it that easy to tell the difference between a man in a poor mental state and a sob story? Not sure I’m qualified to make that call and I’m not sure you are but your entitled to your opinion.

Difficult listen, would not be surprised if he walks and I wouldn’t blame him TBH, hope the board can come up with a constructive plan going forward if he does, indeed perhaps a way forward is already being put in place.

Let’s talk about a real injustice .. ex players still owed a months wage packet by this Charlatan chairman .. points deduction incoming

Go on then talk about it instead of dropping an unsubstantiated verbal bomb aimed at DH then leaving the conversation.

All Along he Watchtower and I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight on the same album bill, better songs IMO, indeed there are some fine songs running throughout the entire collection on this 1968 release.

Well the reason DSGM was the pitch had become totally unplayable after a prolonged period of torrential rain that left the ball unable to roll on the pitch and players all over the place just attempting to run never mind kick a football, astonishing scenes not witnessed as bad before at GP, maybe the Gillingham home game from a few seasons back where the pitch was cleaned up at half time and the rain stopped but it was a real mess today. Fans were leaving GP with the front of stands flooded and water up to ankle deep in places between ground and both car parks. I got home and put my socks and trainers outside to try and dry off a bit, just brought them inside and the are still absolutely drenched, really freakish weather conditions it has to be said.

Poor marking for their second, complete free header is totally unacceptable, we got out of jail with the abandonment but it was the correct decision, should have be called off before stoppage time was even contemplated. Shocking officials, have we seen a worse referee at GP before? ( I imagine the Derek Deadman fanbase is baying to be heard ) 😂

Be interesting to hear your take on the ref les, for me completely useless from start to finish, only thing he got right was the sending off and most ten year olds would have got that right. The yellow on the lad who elbowed Evans was another red IMO, a quite shocking incompetent performance from the man in black and I don’t mean Johnny Cash either.

With recent updates regarding Clunan and Roberts I reckon we will be seeing this young fella in action sooner rather than later, sounds a good player, welcome Jack.

After listening to JD it seems a bit iffy regarding Roberts IMO, let down by two specialists, two operation’s because the first one wasn’t done properly but it’s not a serious injury just one that needs treating and managing properly, mmm it’s a deffo “let’s wait and see but not convinced “ moment for me.

Wasn’t the last info on Clunan from Jimmy that he was having a scan just to check everything was going ok?, Roberts to step up his training in about a week was also the info at the same time I believe.

Yes but we will never know because it’s just talk from you whereas JD has actually done it. Well done Jimmy and well deserved for producing a winning team playing attractive football.

Let’s be right, bill has turned into alcy, “I will post a video and everyone will think I’m clever”, no bill, your just coming over as rather sad which has been the impression you give off for quite a while now.
