Absolutely but no different to the majority of football manager interviews we see week in and out on the TV. You can only regurgitate the same old drivel for so long before it becomes irrelevant. Exhibit A, our old buddy Xxx.

Mainly pub crawling round town Awaywego, The Wortley ( Jigsaw Disco which was crap ) Priory, Ashby Star and Brown Cow, both long gone but not forgotten, Cocked Hat, Polish Club, Henry The Eighth ( The Crosby ) and The Sherpa of course. Watched a lot of visiting bands there, remember one called Purple Sand, a three piece dressed in purple suits, pretty good though, did a mean version of Quos Sweet Caroline. Even did the folk club occasionally down at The Berkley on a Sunday night I believe it was, where I got my love of playing acoustic guitar.

The Bridge ( as it was known then ) back in the early seventies was another drug fueled experience. You could walk in most Saturday nights and the atmosphere was heavy in cannabis smoke. Couple of pints and a couple of hours just breathing that smoke in usually made for a decent night, girls were also a lot friendlier in there too, ah my misspent youth.

Not just fans it’s society in general, more bad language, more abuse towards women, as the decades move along some standards of modern life are certainly worse than they used to be.

A sin bin would be a great way of punishing players for diving, blatantly trying to get others sent off
Bloody hell Whitehall would only play twenty minutes a game, mind you he’s doing that most games now without a sin bin.

TJO .. so WTF has happened and is going on JD in his interviews is still what a great group of guys he has.

Not buying this coming pay cut excuse, if it wasn’t for Michelle and her new board and the seventy thousand plus grand given by football fans from all over the country including our own towns people these players would have been on the dole months ago. They are professional footballers playing part time footballers, they should be ashamed of themselves.
