Basically got to go to the AA to change my season ticket card because it says VANARAMA and they are not the league sponsors anymore. Would have thought the barcode or qr code whatever it is on the card would just say you’d paid for the season, what’s the name matter? Anyway we’ll go and get it done because I don’t want it on my phone.

It’s your age Dragoniron the lad is doing a good job helping to create a good atmosphere on match day. I’m far enough away in the Threadgold Stand to not let him irritate me and it’s the only stand to be in really for us oldies now Jason and Co are sponsoring it, he will be looking round us all licking his lips in anticipation.

I shall carry on with my plastic season ticket card, I mean a lot of people have season tickets on their phone these days and that’s fine but what if your phone dies when your queuing to get in the stand. Please nobody say if it’s the queue for the newly named stand the sponsor will dispose of your phone with dignity, however you will still be left outside.

In other news a glut of new season ticket holders clamouring for seats in the newly named Threadgold Stand, people are apparently dying to get in there.

The only scunny shirt I’ve ever owned, dad got me it from Suggs if you can remember them.

I reckon I got my plastic footballs from Suggs, wow that is going back a long way. When they eventually shut the owner moved to London to form Madness, lol.

Never really get this kit over analysis, there are only so many different designs and patterns they can come up with and inevitably the popular ones are very similar or a close rehash to what has been popular in the past, which begs the question why change it that often but of course it’s down as usual to money. A kit is a kit is a kit, more fool the people who get worked up about a new shirt every season and parting with £48 as easy as pie. Just buy the bloody thing if you need one that bad, wear it and shut the f*** up moaning about nothing, as per usual.

Brian, Kenneth and Dennis will be turning in their graves that it’s been resurrected

Maybe they’ll be doing the Resurrection Shuffle?, hands up if you remember that one.

Hands up, Ashton, Gardner & Dyke.

Spot on cass, bit of a one hit wonder but a banging tune back then, Tom Jones had a go at it but the AGD version was the best IMO.

One out of three ain’t bad for you BLT, don’t rate the keeper don’t rate the home shirt but quite like the away shirt, well done. As for me, it’s just another bloody shirt, get on with it.

    Endangered species?

Sounds like you couldn’t give a hoot, however in all seriousness a very old club with loads of history, a real shame if they can’t pull things round, reality of modern day living catching up with football clubs?

With one glaringly obvious weakness in a certain position on the pitch!

Can’t do anything about crap refereeing BLT you’ll just have to learn to live with it, lol.

Since when was the club worth more than £10m?

Was never worth that much when the club owned the ground, think ii has got his sums mixed up a bit.

Well exactly les resorting to bad mouthing and being rude for the sake of it about the lad is not helpful at all but some agenda driven people do this, all behind the safety of their keyboard, shocking misuse of social media.

What am I believing that I shouldn’t be? If it’s anything to do with Maison Campbell then that is based on what my own two eyes have seen, both last season and this pre-season.

    He’s shite by the way.

Yet but that’s according to you and something you posted via the internet , so naw the rest of us prepared to give Campbell a chance will make our own minds up when the season starts thanks very much. You crack on with your agenda if it suits you.

So when are the Trust who have over 1200 Members and also hold Shares going to get the same recognition by the Club ?
Seems the Club are all over Unity Group who have how many Members ?

Is it because the Unity bunch spend most days down the ground doing odd jobs, doing the odd raffle here and there but just generally hanging around the ground. The Trust I believe turn up on match days at Trust Corner and sell their stuff and have general chat with fans on the day. Just a thought it might be because of a greater presence around the ground from the Unity bunch?

So in real terms the trust hasn’t got 100k. So just an idea why don’t they save the money until they have they may have discounts could be available

That’s why the Trust raised the idea of the shareholder scheme, it couldn’t be much clearer and the club hasn’t offered a reason publicly to fans why they rejected the idea, not sure why they wouldn’t encourage a scheme where a larger number of fans have a chance to purchase club shares over a longer period to be part of the club. Thousands of fans are encouraged by the club to be part of the Iron experience on match day why not a large number of fans becoming part of the club through a shareholder scheme? Makes no sense to me, they ask for support here’s a chance to make that support permanent and raise money for the club independent of match day revenue.

This was a different game and a different situation I fail to see what the Spennymoor game has to do with today’s game at Derby, however I am open minded with no pre determined agenda so I will leave it there.

Well the Trust were putting a scheme forward for members to buy the shares on a monthly payment plan over a set period. The club are happy to do that with certain season ticket holders why not with a share issue? They will get the money in full when the timeline for the share scheme expires.

The Move were a Birmingham based band in the sixties and three of them went on to form ELO but Roy Wood left after a couple of years to form Wizzard and return more to his rock routes. Jeff Lynn and Bev Bevan along with the classical musicians who were part of the ELO line up went on to fame and fortune, the rest as they say is history. Roy Wood still tours with his latest band and is one of the top modern day musicians this country has produced in the last 60 years, very talented guy.
