James O’Brien is excellent and his shows are always worth a watch/listen and yes it is coming and if people in countries all over the world continue to vote for Trump and his brain washing political ilk and Farage with his similar tactics then it will be here sooner then we think, scary times.

It’s just a play on names Gurney nothing more, crikey we all made a play on kids names at school that’s how nicknames started, it’s not meant to be offensive sorry you see it that way.

It certainly was powered by hand back in my earliest memories NI, think it might have been upgraded to a little electric motor in later years but fortunately I was driving a real car by that time, lol.

Wow us guys of a certain vintage, spent many an hour in my childhood on that roundabout, my favourite was the car, spent hours negotiating the M1 in that little car, lol, happy memories.

I remember my Mum taking me into Palace Fisheries as a kid, they had a sit down restaurant and the lovely lady CMC recalls was called Bet, she seemed to have worked there forever, well that’s how I remember it as a young un.

You know old Nigel was out in the channel on a boat today blowing more hot air as usual. Lot of right wingers think he’s a saint, why didn’t they chuck him over the side to see if he could walk on water?, now that’s a proper headline Nigel.

You know old Kraftwerk certainly brought something uniquely different to modern music but they hardly set the place alight with their effervescent stage presence , lol.

If I knew how I’d post Tour De France by Kraftwerk, that would get the legs pedalling faster.

A good display more in keeping with the Euro winning Lionesses from 2022, strong, battled for every ball, proper physicality this time and pressurised the Dutch throughout the game. The opposition tonight were not as good as France but that shouldn’t distract from a much improved effort by the England gals.

Think she needs to beef her first serve up a bit but overall a very good player, some of her cross court passing strokes are very accurate and she is super fit and fast, yep looks a good prospect for future success.

Very poor last game , bullied all over the park particularly in midfield and destroyed down the flanks with pace and good interplay. France deserved winners, England have deffo lost an edge to their game going by that performance.

If we support the manager and the whole team the rest will follow Rene, it sure beats speculation and second guessing.

Alcaraz just too good for him today, Cam not at his best either and that’s the kiss of death against this Spanish fella, he’s something else TBF.

Oh I’m sure there’s an experienced wage thief keeper happy to come in, sit on the bench and try and look interested, we’ve had em before over the years in outfield positions.

Must be old age with you Ironawe, fixture release day one of the most anticipated days of the year along with the fa cup draw well for most fans anyway.
Plus the opening day means footy is back.

Footy is back, what a joke it’s rammed down your throats 24/7 with sky sports, European Championships, club championships and blah blah blah. There isn’t a close season anymore and as for the Iron I luv em to bits but the three month break away from it all is welcome to me and always has been, plus I do have other things going on in my life apart from football ad nauseam. Just an opinion if some of you want to cream your undies over a few football fixtures and pre season friendlies well I’m happy for ya.

Couldn’t care less about who we get on opening day, home or away, win lose or draw we will have another 45 games after it anyway, big deal it’s always over hyped and means nowt in context to a full season.

Norrie’s unbelievable fitness ( the experts reckon he’s the fittest pro on tour and he has extra large lungs apparently) and his ability to just keep returning the ball over long periods in rallies are his best chance, try and wear Alcaraz down. Having said that Alcaraz is just an astonishing player and still only 22, he maybe is the only player who may eventually supercede Djokovic as the greatest player of all time, a tough gig for Norrie but I’ll be rooting for him.

The clean sheets over two seasons is extraordinary enough, I reckon an OK keeper would have been nowhere near the consistency of Ross IMO.

Well it was a two year stint in the National League North not three and last week one of these excellent non league papers reckoned Jimmy Dean was still our manager, best ignored they can’t get basic facts right never mind giving tips on whose favourites to go up.
