Curzon draw Kings Lynn draw Brackley lose, happy days just a shame Chester won.
Pity Joe Henderson said he wasn’t interested at the moment, not a 51% deal but him coming in and buying out Michelle’s shares and some of the other directors shares, let’s say 35% would be a good start towards new investment. In time if he proved his worth and didn’t have other motives then maybe we could gradually allow him in as major shareholder, after all the ground is safe and not for sale. Just a thought but a 65k monthly shortfall really restricts our ambitions and means quite a few years in the wilderness. Next two years could be crucial for where we are gonna end up IMO.
Several towns and cities getting put under the spotlight by these you tubers, no it’s not pretty but we are not alone are we. I think town councils nationwide being 40% worse off budget wise than in 2010 has a lot to do with it, our town streets are in a right state.

“How do clubs like Wycombe get to 2nd place in league 1 with tickets very similar in price to ours and average crowds only 1000 or so higher?“
Billionaire owner.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crgy1k89zgkoHenning Wehn on Wycombe Wanderers…
Henning Wehn really funny guy, he’s always good value on HIGNFY.
Last three home games Trust Corner has had it’s usual following of people stopping, chatting in general and asking questions. Five yards further up and leaning against the DRE wall completely on his own, Jerry, not many Unity takers or question asker’s there.
Context – he’s started 3 games since the end of August.
Super sub eh, I remember when Cleveland was ours back in the day.
Michelle has been greeting and congratulating players in the tunnel after the game all season, it’s up to her where she does that IMO.
I’m guessing LK has Fox News on his favourites list, the advocates of honest upright journalism, lol.
That Was the Week that Was, thought David Frost did it better TBH.

Some people are weird , we aren’t Brazil we are Scunthorpe United in the National League North, unbelievable.
Was bound to happen, if you want top notch performances week in week out from a National League North team your in for a long wait, I’m just happy with the final outcome of all three games which is the priority IMO.

For the first twenty minutes it was our best showing of all three games then the last 70 minutes were the poorest. Thought young Rose had his poorest game yet in an Iron shirt but he wasn’t alone in looking distinctly average on the night. Highlights were two cracking goals from Scales and Roberts but really after 9 points out of 9, 8 goals scored and 4 conceded we shouldn’t complain, I think the players and the fans all need a rest after the last 8 days.

BPG was right. The totalitarian state is shaping up*. :-)

Don’t think bill was referring to his mate Trump when he made such claims, however we are not privvy to what God is whispering in bill or Trump’s ear. Did I mention fruitcake on the football side awhile back?
Expect the crowd to be down from Saturday, three home games in a week, cold January night plus Needham bringing one man and his dog to watch. Don’t think their fans will be challenging the DRE when it comes to atmosphere making.

My biggest problem tonight will be choosing between the long winter coat or the shorter version, anything above 8 Celsius usually means the shorter one.
Rene?
Please don’t set him off, we don’t want 20 spread sheets over four posts explaining why we need to be cautious this evening, mercy please mercy.

Quick turnaround from Saturday for an amateur side plus long travel against a professional full time side on a roll at home, 4-0 to the Iron, we need to put these to the sword and I don’t care how many subs Butler makes in the process.
Back to dragging my posts back up again?
I can’t work out why it takes six weeks to reply, seems unusually long and overdue?
We could use a bit of extra muscle in midfield, we have enough skillful players in there who can pass it so we need a ball winner who can give it to the better players to do the rest.
Ha ha sorry 64 thought you were Awaywego, the similarity is scary, no offence meant.
Anyone there would have known the CEO wasn’t on the walkabout .
Calm down Fruity, it’ll soon be gym day and you can go and burn all that frustration away in there.
Scored in his last game, came on as sub yesterday and did a good job for the team, he’s getting there and I hope the fans continue to recognise that and support him, they did yesterday. Carlton still hasn’t scored but I hope he starts soon because there is a good player in there who is overdue a goal.
Williams not fit enough to make the bench today but I agree he’s a good experienced player you need in when making midfield substitutions.
What was Boycey thinking regarding Shields’ first goal? Torps was perplexed.
Never got himself in the right position to head the ball accurately IMO and subsequently f****d up, a neither nowt or summat header entirely of his own making which gifted them a goal, shit happens sometimes I guess because in fairness Boyce has been decent overall this season.

In fairness to AB both Whitehall and Beestin had run their nuts off and had good games, Roberts got trod on down the back of his heel first half and may have been feeling that and Clunan looked injured. Boyce was subbed at half time because his head was messed up after his blunder, it did effect his confidence and he was caught in possession twice in the first half after the cock up. Who’d be a football manager, can’t do anything right eh.

It’s an easy issue to bring up but it wasn’t too many subs that caused Boyce to f*** up and gift them the first and it was just switching off that let them in for the second, I’m just glad we have won the last two games and we’ve seen 10 goals, great entertainment.

Unchanged team and bench, maybe we might start to get a bit more consistency going in terms of continual wins, we need to push on now.

What again, FFS!!!
I’m thinking anything is possible, this is Scunthorpe United we are talking about however I’m going for a 3-1 win and hope the defence tightens up some what from Tuesday, both the Brackley goals were down to sloppy defending.

Lowest home league crowd of the season I believe last night, well it’s to be expected with three home games in a row I guess.
