Alcy I never said he could go to another club any day he chose and you well know that if you read my post about contracts properly. Just to repeat because I know you are a stickler for detail, if he fulfils parts of his contract regarding what he was meant to achieve at Donny and again we are not privvy to that and if he is approached by anothger club and has fulfilled all those aspects, he could well be allowed to speak to said club about joining them and again we are not privvy to that. This brings us back to the original point of not all contracts are the same and the higher up the work structure you go the less we know about the terms of such compared to a standard type contract of employment which has probably applied to the majority using this forum throughout their working lives. Please try and absorb details in an accurate way before coming back with meaningless points about what a person employed further up the working chain should and should not do.

Yes it was Beestin that scored, just a slip of the keyboard, but not quiet a hanging offence is it.

I’m afraid it is BS, as we speak a scaffold is being constructed outside your old boozer the Bellend. Please be there 6 o clock prompt on Friday, several moles will be available for any last request of yours that may be granted. Don’t forget to say cheese to the camera when the handle is pulled by Mr Bullybeeftin. 😂 PS. Book an eye test.

    No, it was Beedtin!!

😂😂😂 yeah old Beedtin, isn’t that the tin BS kept his bully beef in during his time in the World War 1 trenches?🤔

You appear to go out of your way alcy to be hard work just for the sheer bloody mindedness of it, how do you know what every individual contract contains? You have your own contracts from your own working life as a guide and you automatically think that makes it a yardstick for everyone else’s contract, well it doesn’t and you will have a grasp of this but as usual it’s easier to play the arse, what a surprise, not. 🙄

3-0 home win, mainly due to some of the reasons stated above but also yes, we have improved considerably since the turn of the year but not that much. They are a better side then us and even if we had all our best players fit and available it would still be a very difficult fixture.

Well I’m straight back on here to apologise to the guys, didn’t see that coming at all, what a bloody result well done the Iron. One shot on target and one goal, well that’s how it goes sometimes, only downside is some more injuries but it’s great to get back to winning ways so I will try to stay positive for the rest of the season. UP THE IRON.

I would guess the further up the employment structure you go the contract details are more flexible. The majority of us guys making comments will have probably been on a standard type of employment contract that protects the employer and employee with basic things such as terms of notice on both sides or gross misconduct which can result in instant dismissal without going through the verbal, written and final written procedures. Many people further up the chain have things in their contract that allow club owners to dismiss managers if targets are not met but allow managers to leave if better offers come in and they have met certain targets in their contract. Donny are riding high in league one which is probably more then was expected in his contract when initially agreed, who knows but I assume Donny will get a certain amount of compo for losing their manager from Wednesday, the fact it may not be announced publicly does not mean it’s not occurring due to the terms of the managers contract.

With your much publicly discussed poor eyesight issues BS, was the mole thing a case of the blind shagging the blind as opposed to the blind leading the blind?

Be very surprised if Gilliead, Eisa, VanVeen and MaGahey will be here next season. You can add the crock Clarke and Brown to the same list. More cheap and cheerful young kids to come in and keep the mediocrity going, oh and McAtee too but he’s best gone anyway with his shit attitude.

We need to release the Veen out of the Van and go for the jugular.

Interesting, do you mean he’s the only man in the van with a plan to defeat Cheltenham? Oh BTW 2-0 to the Iron, this sunny weather has got me all optomistic.

when you have logged in look in the top right hand corner it says write, then there is a black square and a bell on the other side, press on the black square and it should show your profile, there you will see the change avatar.

I-A try signing up, you put your email, username and password in and see what happens.

Tried all that mick, just what’s me to form my own site and the charges applicable, no black box to go in and check out after in. Give it up as a bad job mate but thanks for trying, used to like seeing my old Guild DM25 avatar. Gone but not forgotten, plus I have the real thing right here to play away to my hearts content.🎸😎

    wordpress.com

Login with your login details for bru

At the top where there is a black square where the avatar is or should be, it will give you the option to change it, click on it and follow instructions in my profile where you can change the picture, if it works, please reply and I will contact Matt to pin it for a while in case anyone else to put an avatar on, I did it before and Fans64 decided to move it to non football and so it disappeared.

Well mick I’ve been to wordpress.com and logged on with my Iron-Bru login details as you suggested and it’s says ” not recognised “, what the hell is that all about?

0-0 with Cox opting for safety against a team he has IMO too much respect for. I feel if he goes for it the game is winnable but I can’t see him thinking that and if we get a point away then I guess he will be justified.

Scrappy 1-0 win, VanVeen off the bench to nab the winner and reclaim his title of greatest player ever to wear an Iron shirt, whilst sporting that stupid beard.

One of the reasons they don’t mic up Premiership refs live on air like rugby refs, the players could not take a bollocking without kicking off and hassling the official. Love watching and listening to rugby refs laying down the law and explaining very clearly why they have made a decision to the player concerned. Also note that a lot of the players still refer to the rugby ref as sir and some refs call players by their first names. The respect between players and rugby refs and players and Premiership refs is miles apart and sad to see. Also you don’t get many rugby coaches gobbing off on air of in the press after a game about how the referee had done. It’s chalk and cheese really, Premiership footballers have a lot of indiscipline that needs addressing but I will say that VAR interpretation needs to be addressed by the authorities aswell.

Salary cap was a way of trying to ensure clubs survive this desperate position the game and the world finds itself in. Hard to get clubs to stick to it and in an ideal world we don’t want it, the facts that the club’s themselves don’t want it speaks volumes about how they feel the game should be run. I still think some clubs will fold and I believe long term the game won’t want salary caps as a solution to the games problems, it’s the way our football system works and overall bigger clubs, who ultimately have the final say whether we like it or not, will get there own way. As for Man City being ” sterile “, hey it’s all about opinions and in my opinion Man City are a sensational side to watch, I absolutely love watching them play, as for 16 consecutive wins, cracking attacking play, massive goal difference and points clear at the top of our football pyramid with a game in hand on most of their challengers, well that speaks volumes to me about how good and IMO how entertaining they are.

Cods were having a few laughs at our expense over tonight’s abandonment, usual stuff all blah blah blah, not laughing so much now with Stevenage and Southend both winning away from home, puts them bottom.

We were better at falling over!!! Long time ago to remember all the details but the result was a nightmare in dreadful conditions but as my mate said as we left the ground ” it was the same conditions for both teams “. Can’t argue with that point TBF.

Don’t mention orange ball and orange lines, or were they blue lines🤔 back in the 70’s we played Rochdale at the OSG and lost 4-0. They had four shots and scored four goals, we just slid around on our arses for 90 minutes. No more of that orange ball milarky thank you very much.

Is there any wonder swanny says ” well it’s always my fault isn’t it” when posters come out with he only spoke to 2 groups of fans, instead of the 6 groups that were involved.

What he actually says on air and the reasons why does not address the point of the club ownership being transferred to Coolsilk and possible ramifications in the future, if he eventually sells us off, big if but possible and runs away, it will be his fault and the blame will be his. I merely pointed out his latest defensive position when asked awkward questions.
