Never said Grant was brilliant Ferrite and I respect your point but overall he has been good and yes maybe he didn’t get back a couple of times, is that fitness or couldn’t give a toss?, personally I would say fitness, he works hard in midfield compared to others and at 34 probably feels his legs after 70 minutes. Don’t think it makes him crap but it’s just my opinion.

Do you remember Izal toilet paper as a kid alcy? Brutal stuff, particularly in an outside toilet in winter, more like greaseproof paper. Not recommended for hemorrhoids. 😂😂😂

Should have mentioned Delaney cass, he has been an improvement too which for a loan player is encouraging and yes you are right to mention the fitness under Hill, much improved but then again he’s a proper experienced manager, Cox wasn’t.

All about opinion and I’ve only been to home games this season but I’ve not seen Grant have a crap game yet IMO, bloody glad we’ve got him in TBH. He’s the only decent experienced centre midfielder we have in the squad, Beestin has been terrible due to his Covid situation and since Hippo departed the others bloody anonymous most of the rest of the time. Feeney has fits and starts but is mainly a winger although he could slot in anywhere across midfield if required, that’s the difference experience gives you. It’s a team game and it’s true to say collectively as a team we have not been good enough and is why we are going down. I expect Hill to do well next season even if the current numpty is still running the show, which I hope he isn’t.

A point away is always good but as I’ve said many times before it means nothing without home wins. We have got to win our home games!!!

Not sure this team can afford to drop Manny he’s probably our best player

Probably carrying a knock, not only a poor squad but a patched up poor squad. 😞

I very rarely see eye to eye with Buck’s and disagreed with a lot about his continual support of the Chairman but at least he came on and apologised to alcy a while back about being wrong on Swann. Based on previous discussions with Buck’s over the years that must have taken some doing, he very rarley backs down even when his arguments have been shot to pieces by others, so fair play to him on that.

Cheapo option or clever tactical Chairman nous? we will never know so can only speculate and give an opinion. The current Chairmans record compared to Whartons is a matter of proven fact. No speculation required.

Being still involved on paper isn’t the point you were making though, he did the right thing in moving on after his age and health stopped him taking an active and therefore more productive role. So he could not carry on in the way he had previously when he made the club successful and you know that.

We never believed a word he said from day one.

    Really?

Unfortunately a lot of people, myself included, did but that’s just the optimist burning brightly in most football fans and even more so fans of lower league clubs hoping for bigger and brighter days ahead. Con men work in a way that suck people in using optimistic falsehoods to drive their narrative forward, just look at Mr Putin saying he wouldn’t invade, how has that worked out!!!

There used yo be Cribb’s fish stall on the market.

Should fit in well to a team that gets battered every week!

Bloody hell when jokes about the codheads are posted about the Iron you realise how far the club has fallen, battered indeed. 😟

Players like young Harvey could well be first team regulars in our non league campaign next season if the current cheap skaters are still in charge. Good luck lad your gonna need it but congratulations on your first team outing today, wow 16 that’s very special.

Go Now was a number one back in 1965, unlike Swann who has never been a hit since he’s been here.

If Hill is here but Swann isn’t next season would be the perfect scenario IMO, with proper backing Hill would be successful here
