We shouldn’t reminisce too much Renee, those lads aren’t coming back to help this current bunch out, unfortunately.
Apparently Scunthorpe has one of the highest COPD rates in the country, that tends to kill you pretty early. Wonder if it’s owt to do with that bloody great steel plant off Brigg road 🤔🥵

In the relegation spots now, we probably won’t get back out.
Five of the next 7 games will be extremely difficult.
The entire season will be extremely difficult without further recruitment ASAP.

Oh for a Dave Harle in our current midfield.

That will depend on the type, if any, of recruitment we do for the squad. It’s been blatantly obvious since pre season that the numbers aren’t enough and if this doesn’t change then the Iron will continue to be inconsistent, particularly at home and therefore struggle.
Evidence they would be better, I’m generally interested in your criteria on this one
Is a fans vote involved 🤔
Does logic even apply to the Iron whilst the current owner remains ?

Wonderful stuff DM, you know I’m hooked on those Beatles boys. Quite ironically we were discussing Trump earlier in the week and this could have been his theme tune when in power.

Alexander for me, even if he is an inbred.
Some say you are Awaywego yet your still allowed on here. Can’t beat a democratic football forum. 😂
” the love you take is equal to the love you make “.
No apologies from me, it’s those genius Scousers again giving us the answer.Lawsy? Yes, I’m being serious
No you aren’t DM 😂😂😂
Hallam has “performed” under 30 times in roughly four years. A complete waste!
I hear his girlfriend is pretty pissed off aswell.
Hoegaarden, which is a traditional brewed Belgian wheat beer is a recommended beer although I haven’t tried it personally. It’s meant to be very good with curried goat and is sometimes drunk with a slice of lemon or orange. That’s interesting, might give it a go(at) sometime in the future.

That’s nearer the spirit of the topic ironking, nice one.
He’s not going anywhere but the ground will be going somewhere nothing to do with football I fear.

This is head and shoulders the best topic being discussed on this forum right now. Best drink to go with curried goat, any takers 🤔
How many non league teams have sold a player for a £1 million, I honestly don’t know..
How many message board football fans can’t recognise banter when it stares them in the face 🤔
Lee.T
Go and agree a deal with Craig Elliot now!!
He’s free and I’m convinced he’d stabilise us in this league!Hill is an absolute mess
I’m sure Lee T will take your advice based on your track record in football management.
Plagiarism of Privates On Parade there Renee, beware a Prawn type lawsuit lurking.
That’s posh Bobby are you a bit upper class or just being snobby 🤔😂
There was no left side of defence at all after half time – and not that much before.
This was a polished side and superior in quality to our team. How was bringing O’Malley on supposed to improve it? Too many times their no.11 was left unmarked. Hillseemed oblivious to it.
I’m guessing Ntlhe could not continue as he took a knock first half and that’s the problem, O’Malley not a full back and it showed against a quality winger. We are players short DM and the owner is to blame.

Well after a good start we lost to a really confident good footballing side but the lack of bench quality was probably the final decider. Many, myself included have said we are four experienced or better quality players short in this squad and it showed today. They made three subs and all three added something to their team and kept them on the up, none of our three subs, two albeit late subs, made one bit of difference. O’Malley never a full back as the second half showed and Whitehouse and Carver came on too late and also added nothing. Maybe Hill was reluctant to sub unless forced too with Ntlhe injured at half time because he knows the position we are in squad quality wise. Nuttall was a big plus for me today from last season, fit at last he scored two and provided an assist for Daniel in a good display. We need to keep him fit and get the squad bulked up or else we will struggle, fair play to Solihull, you can see why they are one of the divisions top sides on today’s showing. Sack Hill ? not for me, let him get four more players in and let them gel together as the season goes along and maybe we can squeeze a mid table finish which will do me. Four games in, squad incomplete, now not a time for knee jerk reactions IMO.
Man U, most narcissistic club in the country? I think its a fair shout, darling of the journalists who hate it when they struggle whilst the majority have a little chortle to themselves. Was it ever thus.

Used to take Richard his heating oil when he lived in Goxhill, used to talk a bit about his footy time at Scunny and he was flying planes by then.
I remember Suggs, didn’t he sell up and join Madness 🤔

Well NI there was a lot of positivity from certain fans after the first game of the season but like a lot of typical fans, two games later they are all blubbering away.
You know if you ever acquire a sense of humour it will be as a result of you removing your balls from between your ears, not holding my breath on that one.
