He will be laughing at the Prawn but he won’t be laughing at the plight of OUR club and OUR fans. Keep it in context, Stelling always comes across as a genuine football fan IMO.

I take all the things Prawn has said over the years with a giant pinch of salt, all the things stated above by the posters about what has been said is true because I heard the same things in the same interviews but I don’t necessarily believe any of them. It sounds cynical but based on the reality of where we are now as a football club I don’t believe anything anymore about what is happening. It’s sad but true and it’s shit TBH. 😞

So what are you saying Iron=awe. Are you suggesting Fans should just accept the football on show until Swan is gone and the club sold. We all know that we are not world beaters but every game we play I expect the players we have to be organised which they are clearly not. Even with the behind the scenes disaster I still want us to compete in every game. Oh ! and maybe win once in a while. As for Keith Hill the fans do not want him. I think you may be of the opinion, they do. Either way. If he had anything about him, he would walk

Not at all you are entitled to your opinion, I am simply pointing out the lack of objectivity straight after another defeat. You can criticize Hill, Turnbull, the players, the system, the tactics ad nauseam that is your right. I’m simply pointing out then when you have cooled off about today’s game or any other game we lose you will reflect on the real reason we are where we are because of one man and he isn’t the current manager. We have seen enough managers tried, different players tried, different media spin tried to explain the last four seasons of failure and it revolves around one person alone. We are in a position where you could bring in anybody manager wise to change things and it would ultimately fail because of somebody else and the position he has put our club in. The only chance we have this season to survive without the club being sold is to make up the squad with another four players ( possibly three now after our latest loanee arrival ) with some experience to give us a sniff of staying in this League and it won’t matter if Keith Hill is manager or Elton John because we will have a chance and a half decent coach like McMahon could probably keep us up with whoever manager you name as figurehead. Write what you want but expect a response if others disagree, that won’t change.

This is the problem with people commenting directly after another defeat, it’s hard to be objective because the red mist is down and everyone gets blamed. There is but one person to blame and it’s the same person who has been responsible for several seasons now. This club must be sold and the owner gone before any substantial change will occur, the vast majority of fans have enough oil in their cans to know this.

Whoever the manager is the gloom will not lift around our club till Swann sells up and goes, simple as that.

Brilliant DM, I remember Roddy and his boat but I’d quite forgot about Guinea Pig burning up the forest in his Jeep, it’s a classic. Hammy was quite the tearaway in his youth, urging his mate to go faster. 😂

Bobby was the recovery match from three down to win against Oldham away in September 1967. Can’t find a match report but I remembered the score and checked out it was correct.🤔

Let’s hope he’s a young arse kicker in midfield, need a bit more strength particularly in this league. As with all new arrivals I will give him my full support and see how he gets on, welcome Isaac and best of luck young man.

Will Keef be cross after the game? Is he ever cross?

I heard he once sat down on a red hot sun lounger in Cyprus and ended up with hot cross buns.

I think the Reading one is in the ground. That black burger at Banbury has got to be a wind up surely?

Surely it’s black pudding and should be on a plate with bacon, egg, sausage, tomatoes, beans, hash browns, toast and a nice big mug of TEA 😂

Was it a calf injury that caused him to miss so many games at Barrow?, he played only 27 games for them in two seasons.

Feel sorry for Lee, going out of his way to please people and give them what they ask only to be let down by the moronic fringe of our fanbase. What about the plastic bottles thrown on the pitch late second half from the DRE will we get a fine for that? Just not good enough when people running the club are trying their best to turn things around.

Like the floors in a derelict building – we keep falling through them and thinking the next one will hold us, only for it to give way and down we go again.

    Brilliant analogy.

    Absolutely, certainly floored me.
