He’s hardly an inspirational leader is he, mind you he won’t be leader that long IMO. I believe the next election will come early.

A neighbour of mine used to say that when Lavery was our keeper he should change his name to Lavatory, because when it came to goalkeeping he was a proper shithouse. 💩😂

Sunak must be a contender after todays speech, one and one is three, not good enough but i will concentrate on that and ignore the current pressing issues facing the country.

I’m guessing the answer to your question is somewhere like Louisiana or Florida.

Was it Everglades?, sorry ever thus.

Surely it’s in his brief to keep fans in the loop about the current situation at GP, if he doesn’t realise fans are concerned by the lack of information then he shouldn’t be doing the job. If he is unable to let fans know certain details because of an NDA then all he has to do is post an explanation and then at least fans will be aware. Other fans posting clips from other Twitter feeds and SST letting us know the snippets he receives are our only sources, the actual appointed fans director says nothing. It’s all very strange and is really not acceptable, however someone stated awhile back that his wife hadn’t been well and he was under pressure from that and if that is still the case then we should extend our support to him.

Rose tinted specs say Geoff Bernard who I believe was just a good all round reliable keeper. In later years Joe Murphy, who had the benefit of playing in a very good side and I always liked Daniels. Gilks didn’t hang around long enough because of injury but whilst here was a good solid keeper.

It’s as usual down to the owner, him moving on and agreeing a settlement for the club would be the best solution. There is enough goodwill locally from the proposed new investors and businesses in the town who appear to want to get involved to reignite the recovery of Scunthorpe United. Just keep everything crossed guys but I agree at the moment things look very grim indeed. 😞

There was always going to be aggro when the US pulled out of Afghanistan no matter who was President, Trump had planned the withdrawal and there is no evidence to suggest he would have done any different to Biden timescale wise if he’d been re-elected. What has happened since the withdrawal should leave no one in doubt just how barbaric the Taliban are, yes I’m going to say it, bloody religion again. The other points have been addressed by other posters so JI thanks for responding and though I don’t share your reasoning for Biden to be named as idiot of the year, at least you fleshed out your thinking why. It’s basically the difference of how we look at the world and how it should be run for the betterment for all or at least as many as we can run it better for. Whether it’s how wealth is created and distributed better for the many and how we care for people in a better fairer way, or how we see ourselves on the world stage and how we address countries being invaded by others on the flimsiest of reasons. It’s a huge task and there are no easy answers but I sure don’t put Joe Biden in the same camp as Putin when it comes to how a powerful country should be run and how it should act on the world stage. Nobody is perfect but if you said to me who I would prefer if I had only two choices of person to run the UK, either Biden or Putin, well it wouldn’t be Putin. Hope your laptop problems are resolved soon.

Rather Rory then Dewhurst and I think young Foster has potential, I’d be happy with them both as goalkeepers for the next few seasons, if we still have a club left of course.

Don’t forget there are about 270 million more Yanks than us, that is a huge market to tap into and loads of em like coming over here to drool over our history and historic buildings. Can see why H and his Mrs went there to live because the cash opportunities for them as a couple are immense, it’s just how stuff like that works over there too, it’s all glitz, glamour and gossip which Yanks in particular lap up. Can’t see any harm in them tapping into that market as a nice little earner and if they don’t remain a drain on our countries resources them I’m fine with that. The royals are a drain and after all, their land and farms and buildings all belong to the country anyway, so I say bin the people and the wealth created from their/ our resources should be poured back into public coffers. Just my opinion.

That’s part how they make their money these days, I’ve no problem with him TBH and the system he’s left is beyond a joke. We should have binned all of them years ago IMO.

Your points are unsubstantiated which for you is unusual, I will respond the same by saying maybe you perhaps over did the festive sherry and got carried away. I forgive you, it’s a New Year after all, you deserve a clean slate I believe.

    ..does he ever?

…..well at least he doesn’t repeat the same old twaddle and hide behind meaningless bible quotations as some kind of justification for what he’s trying to say. You could learn a lot from JI if you were prepared to absorb some of the content he posts but I realise you have been programmed in a certain way from being very young and therefore appear to find it difficult. Peace be with you.

JI I never mentioned Buck’s needing medical attention I only said people who think they are targeted because their views aren’t accepted by all could do so as a result of paranoia which can by helped by seeking medical attention. Buck’s was mentioned by you, my point was just a general one about people who believe they are targeted for some of their views on this forum. It’s a brand New Year on its first day and already you aren’t paying attention to what people are writing on this board, hope you improve overtime. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Here’s an observation, when some people don’t get their views universally excepted they can become paranoid and accuse others of targeting them. This is very sad for them but there are medical people who specialise in such matters so they can seek help if it really effects them badly. Happy New Year to one and all, may we all find peace.

Dear me bill you post reams and reams of absolute drivel, expect others to read and follow it, then accuse others of idiotic posts. We are all entitled to an opinion, I believe the vast majority of your posts are completely idiotic and is a result of your brain washing from an early age. Please don’t reply with more idiotic scripture, thank you.

Don’t worry about any other club other than SCUNTHORPE UNITED.

If they enter Administration extinction really is around the corner.

Should we all join extinction rebellion then 🤔😂

I still maintain and also after seeing the video that Foster would have least got a hand on Chesterfields first goal and it was right in the corner, maybe a hand may have been enough to deflect it but anyhow the point is Dewhurst is slow to get down and he gets beaten from distance far too easily

Thing is 64 you aren’t in their shoes and probably never will be from a financial point of view. Leave them too it, there is more to this than just purely financial reasons, there is a tradition, a heritage a feeling of something that this is important to our town and it’s population that Swann has never ever bought into IMO.

Next time you come IA … if you see a tall, balding but extremely good looking guy casting his line then stop and say hello. :)

Sounds a lot like me, there maybe a mirror on the canal bank JI, nice one.
