Because with the club remaining unsold and struggling to meet wages all the time, any cash flow improvement through transfer fees would help keep the club afloat. Good luck Simon hope you and Ian can see it through ASAP. Interesting to hear him refer to the fee for Nuttall as £100,000, wasn’t it reported as undisclosed initially?, makes a change hearing an exact amount for once regarding a transfer fee.

Very enjoyable and well deserved, a good all round display with special mentions for Lavery, Shrimpton, Wilson and Butterfield. Beestin worked hard but gave it away a couple of times but no real complaints overall, nice to see Foster back in goal and Ogle will be back in the groove after a couple of games to get match fit. Only downside is Lavery will probably leave along with Butterfield but the youngsters are certainly starting to look better with each game.
