When did we have two full backs in the same team with excellent long throws? Everton-Richards came up a couple of times in the second half when Ogle launched two of his ” rocket” throws into the Dagenham box from the East Stand side. Good as some corners and we must utilize these guys throwing potential with the height and power we now have in the team be it big strong centre backs or the big guy up front ( when fit ) causing mayhem in the opposition area

“Scunthorpe till I die”- then what?

Then nothing, just blackness and a fading memory for the ones left behind. That’s why you have to enjoy your footy now. UTI.

Heard outside ( only speculation ) that McDonagh got a knock in training, also heard more interestingly, that Fewster has gone back. Don’t quote me but it’s strange he’s played a part game as sub against Barnet then doesn’t even get in the squad. Have to say I hope he’s not injured aswell.

Butterfield given a free role today and ran the show, what a player at this level and a thoroughly deserved win from a very entertaining game.

The last line in your original post was unnecessary Awaywego, yeah you are after one of your cheap shot jokes as per norm but it lowers the opinion you are giving to schoolboy level, just behave yourself, remember your a grandad.

We should run all our railways like the Japanese and Germans do, we have learned nothing over the years when it comes to running public transport efficiently.

With a fortnight’s training and tactics with Elliott here, surely you don’t leave out a guy with 22 goals in 41 games last season?, not if you want to attack and win games, which Dean undoubtedly will be doing. They are in a bad patch right now, go out and smash them, show proper intent, it’s what the club needs and the fans want to see.

Just shows what happens when you nail your political colours to the mast and yet pass yourself off as a serious news broadcaster. Fox News is nothing more then a right wing propogandist channel masquerading as a genuine news channel, their hypocrisy is astonishing and they have been lying continually to the American people for many years. Trouble is they, along with Trump and many in the GOP, have convinced a large section of the GOP voting base that they are correct. Big trouble comimg for Fox with this $2.7 billion dollar lawsuit being pursued by Dominion, the voting machine company Fox spread lies about after the 2020 election, the courts are coming down heavily on Fox in the early exchanges and Hannity has already admitted in court under oath that he thought Trump was lying, funny, he didn’t say that in his broadcasts to the nation at the time. Sit back with your popcorn and enjoy all you right wingers.

Certainly since Nelson first took charge there was definitely a change of emphasis on how the team played. More on the front foot with more attacking intent and I don’t see this changing under Jimmy Dean, he’s been brought in to win as many games as possible and his track record shows that he sets his stall out to win every game. Let’s be right here, there is no point in doing anything else now is there guys.

Ended up in a large function room where we were offered hot or cold drinks and snacks for which we weren’t asked for payment. As we tucked into our tea and sandwiches we realised the staff thought we were BPA “executives”!

Did they think one of you was John Helm?

More like John Helmet, the old porn star.

Roger Waters is like a geriatric version of Russell Brand, everybody’s view is a conspiracy theory but his conspiracy theories are ok. Those years of animosity with Dave Gilmour about who owns Pink Floyd and blah blah blah have really fu***d his brain over. Talented man musically but so very sad in other areas.

Don’t know much about the lad and not sure why a relegation rival would allow a player who’s made 19 league appearances this season to come to us, it’s a little baffling. Hope he’s fit and it’s just maybe a financial issue with them because he’s only on loan. Anyhow good luck Ben and welcome.

She’s struggled of late with the gender reform bill and independence importance said to be down to 45% with the Scottish people, I think like a few politicians after several years in charge she has simply run out of road. It’s probably time they had a fresh start as leader.

What about a set number of reviews of VAR per team per game?, in cricket teams are allowed so many reviews per innings then once they are used up then that’s your lot. Plenty of teams asking refs about the validity of a decision and then VAR is used, perhaps three per game and then you have no more left to question the ref?. Just a thought.

Thing is with cricket les, they have umpires call which is non negotiable and quite right too. In football they will say to a ref, ” in retrospect go back and have a look at this for a penalty “, different interpretation of how the technology works in football compared to cricket. The cricket version of how it’s interpreted and used is far superior to football because the initial interpretation of umpires call isn’t questioned.
