He makes a very good point about the lack of building taking place on these so called new villages that are meant to be springing up under this overall development. As for more accidents, well the lack of basic driving ability and lack of concentration is probably the main cause there, nothing knew about that, the amount of drivers that lack the basic knowledge and commonsense of how to negotiate a roundabout properly is astonishing, it’s basically lazy driving craft and technique.

You’d be a right thicko if you couldn’t see it was Ironawe who brought Hilton into the discussion.
Your not that thicko are you Deerey.
Swanny and others were showed proof he had the money unless you think they were lying, what proof have you got to say he didn’t, don’t get me wrong i understand that Hilton never wanted the ground himself but that doesn’t mean to say that he couldn’t fund it.

I never mentioned David Hilton Awaywego, where in my post about Yeovil did I mention him?

Just another excuse for Awaywego to parade down the street wearing just his pink jock strap and stockings, FFS he’ll be crowing about it for months.

    Claret and blue codpiece surely?

Not sure he’s a bit of a stickler when it comes to his gay roots ( history that is not pubes) lol.

Depends about Yeovil, maybe the new owner is a property developer who wants to sell off the ground and shut the club down, who knows time will tell.

One thing about WG when he spits his dummy out it’s usually quite entertaining, the older he gets the thicker his skin will become, give it time lad you’ll be fine.

I remember him as a safe pair of hands and a decent reliable keeper. He wasn’t a world beater but neither were the teams he played for, the words a good honest professional spring to mind. RIP Graeme.

TBF to AB it was an inconsistent league as the changes at the top and in the top seven positions throughout the season showed. We just dipped out winning the league by two points and super in form Kidderminster blew it during the last two games they played. We got promoted and AB did just fine, be grateful of the promotion and keep looking forward.

I reckon most people who watch football will attempt to put the manager right on football than a bricky on how to build a wall but hey it’s again just another opinion and most people are only interested in their own.

Yes, more will attempt to put a football manager right. You don’t often get multiple thousand people turning up to watch someone lay a brick.

Correct so your initial analogy was flawed, I accept your apology you don’t have to come back and offer another.

It wasn’t flawed. You have failed to understand it.

You fail to remember you are most people.

I think most professional sportspeople have ego’s it goes with the territory I guess. They are superior in ability compared to the average person when it comes to sport so to be told by these people they are doing it wrong will rankle them a bit. Ego, arrogance call it what you will but most of them have it and the response to people who say ” I’ve watched this game 50 years I’m entitled to my opinion” is,” absolutely you are but I don’t have to take any notice of you because you’ve never been a professional in the sport like me “. Arrogance and ego part and parcel of the everyday professional sportspeoples profile.

So a player might only sign if he can play in a position or certain way that suits him? Sounds like he’d better piss off then, manager runs the team his way, he probably asks for input from players about their thoughts sometimes but the player plays and does what he’s asked to do by the manager in a game.

Good chance we will find out about Campbell pre season against some higher league opposition, we know he’s a good penalty stopper but in fairness to the lad he’s not had much chance with Fitz between the sticks.

Only three released after all and no real surprises, shame about Finn but we need a proper midfield enforcer and he doesn’t fit that bill, can add Fitz, Roberts and Whitehall to that list IMO unless someone has a magic money tree available.

I suspect with Newcastle’s ” new millions” the Tyne/ Wear derbies next season may well prove embarrassing for Sunderland, I hope not but money usually wins out particularly in that division.

    “Joe Rowley says @SUFCOfficial
will activate his contract’s option of another year”

    Good start.

Absolutely cass, since Joe got his fitness sorted and established himself in the starting lineup he has been most impressive, very consistent and we need more of that throughout the squad.
