If they’re anything like Shocal, best avoided.
Ha ha, only joshing. I’ll do better if I remember to make my predictions on time!

Regardless of his dodgy sexual transgressions, there definitely is. Bloke’s a t***.
We’ve had the gambler and the fraudster. Some idiots nearly gave us the flaky chancers. A close shave
As soon as Coldplay are mentioned, the bar’s set lower than a rattle snake’s abdomen
Come on people join in and help YOUR forum.
Because you will help, every weekend you can take a few minutes away from shouting at the politicians and display your superior football knowledge to predicting all the correct results and teach us all a thing or two.
It is fun, frustrating at times when in a minute you can go from glory to failure.
Matt should pay you commission for your promotion efforts Sanfran

I see what you did there.
Did it the hard way but we’ll take it, doing what the blokes cant seem to do. Ground out but often dangerous on the break and on the whole, kept Spain out enough. Great pens and two excellent saves. Feel for Spain but that’s football.
Good point
Only need a few injuries and it won’t seem like a luxury. And they can always go out on loan?
July 27, 2025 at 2:10 pm in reply to: To Those Who’ve Been To Pre-Season Games – Name Your Starting Lineup. #307660If we are releasing Shipstone and Simmonds then Butler has not been fair with them. To hang onto them until a week before the season begins does not give them much time to get another club!! He should have seen enough of them to decide by now. From is being reported on here is correct he is going to bring in a new player next week that he hasn’t seen play yet.
All depends on what is agreed with those players agents. Perhaps they want them in a squad situation and keeping fit – things we never hear about. A lot od people were raving about Chapman, as he gone because Chadwick came in ?
Exactly. Unfair to have a pop at Butler if we don’t know the full circumstances

I know it’s 7 subs in NL, can you use 5?Well you could last season
‘I’ve called them out as soon as Sharpy got his foot in the door and being castigated ever since, hope you now see they aren’t what you cracked them up to be.’
Tbh, there are not many you don’t call out. But you still don’t call out Hilton.

‘now it would be useful to be able to present to the club Directors evidence of our members level of interest in supporting “OB1”. If there is strong support for the idea then the Trust intends to ask the club Directors to reconsider their decision.”’
I reckon they’ll reconsider and agree to it.
Exactly
Nothing about needing a midfield general and world class keeper I see
I like the look of those
Tokenism? You reckon they’ll deliver on those promised improvements?
I think the Neal Bishop style midfield general has evolved since his days. A player in that old role needs to be more than that these days. Like a Clunan with heft.
I only saw 9 minutes of highlights from Skeg but thought that Rory seemed to exude a level of self-confidence I’m not sure that I’ve seen before.
I think Rene made the point earlier about the difference in levels but I’d take that with a pinch of salt. I’ve seen a few level 9 v 6 cup games and they’ve been closer than I thought they would be.
It never rains in Halifax
My point about having something worth shouting about was in direct reference to your season ticket sales post awaywego. I assume there’s nothing much to shout about regarding that?
I assume if there’s something worth shouting about, they will.
Watson pulled off a good save with his feet, but the was always a pretty good shot stopper, only thing back in the day was that he was terrified of crosses.
I hope he’s more comfortable with that part of his game now.
Maybe he is. That’s why it’s always fairer to give players the benefit of the doubt before a ball’s been kicked and to save mass knicker wetting.

Deserved to win in the end but pretty rubbish for most the 90. Those late subs were almost too late on 85mins. I hope they review the game and realise all those long balls and crosses weren’t really working. Got to admire the never say die attitude though. And Agyemang and Kelly are obvious game changers. Should be an interesting semi tomorrow and final Sunday.
Best sticking to Farah slacks.
You wearing bamboo strides on holiday awaywego?
If he hasn’t, he gotta have faith
Got a feeling the use of chains in the design will be a regretful decision.
