Twill or quill? I am surprised actually. What do you post on Bru from? An Amstrad ZX?
I’m a fetishist.

I’ve seen David McCallum and he was supposed to be invisible
I agree with CT about Butler’s starting XI, which I think he will change when we go 2-0 down. A much more fluid 442 will allow us to come back into the game and snatch a draw (2-2)! UTI!
Tamworth are not scoring more than one. Convinced of that.
AI: Quorn FC aren’t related to Quorn food brand or now known as FGR.
AI Overview:
Quorn Football Club (now known as Forest Green Rovers) is directly related to the Quorn food group. The football club is sponsored by and uses Quorn products as a key part of its menu, particularly the Q Pie, which uses Quorn as a main ingredient. The club is also known as the “world’s first vegan football club” and emphasizes sustainable food practices. What if some supporter’s don’t have phones?.
The ones who travel to the match in a Hansom Cab?
Penny Farthings. Tough getting back up Kingsway on one of them. Once got threatened by a group of 5 Grimsby fans who’d cycled from there for the match at the OSG. One was on a Rayleigh Chopper and another a Grifter. Can’t remember what the others were on.

I think all the red kits were decent. I particularly liked the Bukta and Adidas ones
‘winning (or losing) the first game doesn’t define the season.’
My local Counties side lost their first home match 4-2 last Saturday due to some slack defending, particularly the new centre back who was tree like. Opposition centre forward was vertically challenged with a low centre of gravity and skinned him twice in the second half. I’d been chatting to his dad before half time saying goodbye as I headed for the obligatory steak pasty. He said he usually plays on the wing but the first choice striker was injured. Managed to whip past his dad on the way out to avoid his smug mush. Anyway, Tuesday night resulted in an unexpected away win, so yes, case in point Brian. The tree has vanished from the squad it seems. Probably for the best.
‘Remember that classic 1969/70 season? That strip really fired up the imagination.’
I don’t remember any kits before 1976. What was it like?
‘AB ball lickers’
Are you reading Irvine Welsh’s new Trainspotting series novel too?
Was struggling to comprehend why I would have drove 100 odd miles for a LDV match. Think I was bit delirious with sleep deprivation having two young kids.
Yes! That was the one. Feckin great night. Thanks for clarifying
Not sure if I like it or detest it. Like a slasher style film
Yes, I think so. Were they taken down at the home end? It was a long night though so can’t remember it that clearly. There was a decent following and a good atmosphere. LDV Vans Trophy?
What cup competition was it at Hillsborough about 20 odd years ago that we won in extra time or pens? McClean scored the winner I think? It was really late when it finished. Like about half ten. I remember turning and hugging a complete stranger after the winner. Limbs everywhere.
‘Should the word ‘corruption’ be coming up quite so often in English football?’
It attracts the corrupt Les. And inept gambling addicts.
‘A mate of mine and his daughter are Owls’
Sounds like a line from The Mighty Boosh

Yes, BJM did a cracking set at Glastonbury. One of the highlight sets I thought.

‘Unlike the trust, who’ve never been supportive of the club.’
The club or the owners? Either would be incorrect

There’s a big difference between paying £10 for life and £10 a month. How many of that 1200 would / could do it? I reckon about 50%. Still nae bad though.
