I remember the ‘utter dog mess’ comment too. Surprised the lesser spotted poster denied it! 🤣

How many ex-Iron forwards do Stockport want?? It’s getting silly now. 3 ànd counting, including Kyle who’s just signed a 3 year deal. They’ll be able to regale each other with tales from the abyss with us. Contrasting fortunes? Damn right. Oh well, pleased for them, they’ve lived to tell the tale and are on their uppers. Looks like one of the best things that’s happened to them in recent years was leaving Swann infested SUFC.

Absolutely deserve to be where we are. All about perceptions though. My comments about some clubs perhaps wanting to beat us more than others is more about opposition teams and fans under the illusion that our club and supporters think they / we are bigger and better than them, which is far from the case. Those clubs that haven’t fallen from grace like us will definitely raise their game though. Going to be tough.

If we signed Harry Kane (unlikely I know) there would be some unhappy posters so, yes, I’m sure you’re right about groans vs cheers.

The Arsenal Iron fans maybe? Seems to be a big thing supporting a Premier league club and the Iron. Don’t get it myself.

I can see some opposition warming to the idea of thrashing a side who was in the Championship not so long ago and whose supporters may think they’re too big for non league. Big scalp? Kind of.

As long as Boycey doesn’t bring Marleen along to matches, someone will be happy!

Hippolyte’s signed a 2 year deal with Stockport. Must be doing something right there. Worked out well for him.

Positive news – well better than the ticket office being closed today anyway. Experienced legs are needed. Think he’ll do okay.

Just reporting today’s sensational online news coming out of the club. There’s a Tweet on the ticket office being closed. Thank you.

If the budget is the same but restrictions are lifted then it will allow Hill to wheel and deal as he wishes.

Hill or Will? Also, you’ve got to be kidding if you’re suggesting either would be able to wheel and deal as they wish. Is there an unlimited budget?

Pushing for a fair deal for families my arse! 🤣🤣

As for the rest of your straw man arguments, I refer you to the last paragraph of my last post.

‘Don’t know Deerey you had better ask said family’

It was you who brought up ‘family’, same as it was you who brought up ‘gender’ on the other thread and then decided you’re not really arsed about gender in punditry, or along those lines.

I assume you mean a hypothetical family? In which case, how is anyone going to ask them?

Waste of time trying to reason with you, you follow no logic known to humankind! 🤣

I’d suggest the family eat something healthier at home before the match if finding £22 for something decent is beyond their budget compared to £16 for absolute rubbish. Or, given it was cited as £5.50 for 2 sausages in a bap they buy 2 and share it between them. How much food do they need to eat ffs?!

That’s not quite true is it ferrite your last 2 posts were about Grimsby, very selective when it comes to be only concerned with Scunny.

You are presumably being deliberately daft?

Deliberately pedantic I reckon. Seems to be an obsession.

I enjoyed seeing Hurst celebrating in the dressing room with the players on Twitter. Good for him. Whatever the true reasons for his leaving us were, he must be mightily pleased he did.

What do you mean there’s no news? 660 miles more to do next season than last season – quite why the club want to tweet this is beyond me…

Reckon they’ll try and lure Gerrard or Lampard in a few years. Awaywego would be rooting for the former.

To be fair he must be doing a good job as assistant to Wilder at Sheff Utd and now Boro. Looks like he could be instrumental in getting the best out of Wales with Page too.

‘But if they beat Ukraine they’ll be the pariahs of world football!’

Not so sure about that NI. I think the international football community will respect Ukraine’s opponents right to play their strongest game and win, should they win.
