Another feather 🪶 in your cap mate. Right on the back of Saddlergate 🤣 You’re on a roll!

‘Swanny acquired the land next to the stadium and turned it into the training ground’
Clearly not more or less about improvements but an unfounded claim about land ownership! And naff all to do with ‘narratives’.
Absolutely no arse licking but good to see you gaslighting and not graciously accepting you were wrong.
The need for a footpath barrier is dwindling.

A cunning plan…

Yep, and that’s very different to ‘Swann/the club did all they could to keep us up’ with quite different connotations and implications. You make it sound like they were defending Swann, and so much you felt like vomiting. Massive exaggeration and distortion of reality. At no point did they defend Swann.
Railcard?
Let’s be fair on Brad and Matt Alcy, at no point did either say ‘Swann/the club did all they could to keep us up.’ The early part of the discussion was around some good business done in the Jan window, Hill being allowed to get in better players, but acknowledging it was all too little too late. I thought it was a fair and balanced take on the pitch side position. The root of the problems that have got the club to this desperate point have been covered umpteen times over the last few years and that clearly wasn’t the focus of this particular podcast.

Without a couple of wins on the spin and the ball game is National League
Day away from ‘er indoors’?
Ignoring WG’s way off the mark comments about Alcy, I don’t think supporters still paying to attend matches appreciate ‘I told you so’ comments right now. None of us have anything to gain from pointing out how early in the owner’s tenure we detected serious issues. The here and now is more important and some fans want to discuss on field matters rather than looking back. I believe that’s what this thread is about?

Amusing that both Awaywego and Alcy have said they rarely attend home games anymore.
North Lincolnshire I think.
We’d definitely struggle against top half teams and I think that’s the future.

It’s a perpetual viscious circle.
‘On this result I reckon we registered our last ever league win on Tuesday night.’
Think we’ll get at least a few wins at home and the odd point but obviously nowhere near enough. Just can’t see another 7-8 wins

I’d be surprised if anyone is confident of anything more than nul points. But ‘it’s a funny old game Saint’

Gone a bit quiet after your last post awaywego. Surprised no one felt the love.

Hopefully he enjoyed that pint with a few articulate Scunny fans.

Lol, whatever! As far as I can tell reading back you read one statement relating to the matter and started telling him what he already knows with nitpicking thrown in to try and look smart. When he said ‘our own stadium’ I’m sure he’s fully aware of the technicalities.
‘We pay our old chairman £450k per year for the luxury of playing at our own stadium and it’s crippling.’
I’ll take his word on the situation thanks.

Maybe he wondered why a Scunny fan would think he knew more about the club he supports and decided to give it a miss?

If you’ve got a fairly good modern laptop or tablet you shouldn’t experience many problems Ferrite. If it starts buffering you can try reducing the definition in the viewer settings. Don’t have that problem when I use it these days but did in the past
Concur with MK Iron Thanatos. Old Farmhouse is a good bet
It’s all games but Sat 3pms isn’t it? Just go on the SUFC site and live match centre will tell you if the game is available to purchase fir £10.
If you’re abroad it’s all games. Or used to be. Unless you access using a VPN but i believe it doesn’t always work.
Bit of a trek on down there awaywego!
