I’m thankful my family don’t live in one of those States. That much I’m 100% sure about

My misery? It’s not my misery. You don’t know the half my personal interest in this subject. So you can leave your detached musings at the door thanks. It has naff all to do with a supposed ‘creator’ either.

Likewise NI. There’s a lot more I could say on this subject and would argue over every single point but I don’t think this forum is the place to do it. Not for me anyway. JI, my perspective has more to it than theoretical. Trust me, it’s as simple as I state. ‘examples from the animal kingdom’. Dear God indeed.

You can write reams defending your position JI, the crux of the matter isn’t ‘where does human life begin?’ but about the right of every woman to have choice, and it’s a simple as that. Neither you or BPG have answered the very real problem about taking away a woman’s right to abort due to rape. kestrels and badgers? Ffs, get real man. Defending the denial of a basic human right by attempting to intellectualise is like constructing sand castles in the wind. Personally, I suspect you know this. Kind of comes over in the desperation. Just my opinion. We’re never going to agree on this so I’ll bale out of this topic now.

Fab. My gut instincts aren’t failing in older age. Correctly predicted before I logged on that BPG would have started a pro-life thread already. Do you think those women who’ve been raped, and those who are to come, shouldn’t have the right to terminate the rapist’s child? Do you have a wife and daughter’s Bpg? If so, how do they feel about your rejoicing over a decision that will never have anything to do with you but will ruin the lives of thousands of women? Don’t you like women having choice and rights? Or should they know their place?

To be fair they did post some pics of players returning to training but I got more entertainment from some video clips of my local tier 9 team up to high jinx on their first day back training. Most supporters know them and it just creates more of a sense of ‘all in it together’. We don’t get that from SUFC comms do we

Non football has reopened JI. You can access via ‘forums’ but not a main menu option at present.

You noticed there was nothing then Deerey, same as the meeting “nothing”.

So really there was no point in building it up yesterday?

Heard that there is a big meeting tomorrow at the sands siro, Peter will be there so don’t expect any movement on anything till after, players, admin, liquidation?.

Yep, been on the website awaywego. The only update today I can see is a gallery of images of players returning to training. How does that correlate to your teaser post above?

Agree with that. JI at least provides a reasoned argument and a bit less subjectivity and personal enlightenment. Seen nothing from bpg, and les so far, to suggest they are offering this.

One thing’s for sure, this chip advert is very real, and there’s hard empirical evidence that the produce it’s promoting actually exists. For that reason, I’ll be embarking on a living loving meaningful but shortlived relationship with McCain chips later today. Only one of us will survive…unless I have a cardiac first.

I’d also add to your post above les that, whilst you aim not to offend or insult any posters on Bru, you’re okay with what I perceive to be a thinly veiled insult, as in ‘arguments lack substance’. Just my opinion, but it smacks of piety and is a little patronising. I personally have no problem with posters on Bru promoting Christianity or religion, as long as you guys accept with some dignity that you’re opening yourselves up to be criticised or mocked. Bru is chocka with mockery; those who post about Christianity or religion are not exempt from this.

I often think it’s because they’re bored of repeating the same evidence based response again and again and are faced with yet more futility trying to reason with dogma.

On the money this piece. The only thing I’d add to this bit:

‘Hill also confirmed he had missed out on at least three players who have all chosen to remain in the Football League, perhaps further highlighting the issues the club will face in this window.’

    Is…

particularly nowadays when clubs need to spend bigger bucks in this league to attract competitive players with a decent track record, and we’re offering peanuts

Loved this team. Not a dream team by any stretch but always gave a good shift (2nd post down, our old matchday programme):
