I wasn’t
Apart from sorting out the left back position I believe the current squad is good enough to grind out some results and stay up comfortably. Hoping the interim guys sort it out and get the best out of the players and create the spirit any team needs to succeed. I’m mildly optimistic.

Not necessarily, perhaps questions around coaching and training? Being unmotivated and playing with long faces could be down to not knowing what they’re supposed to be doing and having little respect for the manager. You could argue they’re being honest to themselves as players, should that be the case. We shall see if there’s a change on Saturday anyway.

Well, Farsley are struggling so I’m betting on Russ.
Saw him a few weeks back. Was more inclined to ask if he would consider playing again.

‘Ernest Pawn has called this right.’
Or Neil and Lee called it and he concurred? It would be interesting to know how it played out

Plus, it will be interesting to see if there’s a change in attitude from the players and an energy we’ve not seen so far from them this season.

It’s a home game
‘Mind, something about Hill & his attitude in the press really pressed my buttons.’
I’d wager Neil’s abusers might say that about him and would use it as an excuse Ferrite.

Definitely not Solid State
I’d also add in relation to the abuse Neil’s received on social media, despite what anyone thinks about Hill, he doesn’t deserve the kind of abuse he’s had either. There’s a fair amount of hypocrisy going on from what I’ve seen. Hill failed miserably but a lot of the abuse he’s received is out of order IMO.

Maybe it was wise – he can now block the abusers and general pains in the proverbial? Not difficult to see who they are.
I wouldn’t expect him to make a statement every few days but a brief update every few weeks or monthly would help him IMO. If there’s nothing substantial to say and pass on, make it light hearted. Most issues between groups of people in life are due to miscommunication or misunderstandings. I think he would benefit from increased dialogue. Still fairly new to the role too, at a time when people are banging amd blaming anyone and everything for such a dire situation. Feel for all those now taking the brunt for the invisible man.
Hopefully Lee is brushing up his recruitment skills.
Though quite why Leanne Mayo is still listed as an active Director is anyone’s guess.
I think she stood down as CEO but remained as a director, no?
OK, didn’t realise that. I always got on pretty well with UTI99, I mean L….
It would be helpful and circumvent future misunderstanding if he increased dialogue with supporters and provided regular updates / bulletins about what he’s doing in his role.

Or Lee and Neil told the Swann’s straight how bad it was and the Board acted?

You’re right, you didn’t abuse him so apologies for accusing you of that. I would say harsh, abrasive and insulting though. ‘Swann puppet’; ‘foot in the door of the Swann dynasty’ etc. Yes, he made an ill timed insensitive comment that some fans jumped on (though that comment was ambiguous), but maybe he’s actually spoke to the Board today, in a fashion that supporters expect of him? He deserves some apologies and a bit more respect I reckon.
I only suggested you and others might want to apologise to him for abuse and insults, not for doubting him.
Lol, awaywego the prophet!

‘In his autumn before the winter, comes man’s last mad surge of youth’
I’d take him
Whoever called it, it would still have needed the Swann family buy in with 3 of them on the Board to Lee and Neil. Though quite why Leanne Mayo is still listed as an active Director is anyone’s guess.
True dat
Make Lee Director of Football and let him find someone suitable. Then they report directly to Lee.
I thought you were waiting for Lee to go awaywego?
Was going to say to MKI, an alternative and perhaps more plausible theory to the liquidation one is the cost involved in sacking Hill, and who to next?
Totally agree with all that apart from the last sentence. What makes you think he could succcessfully manage liquidation on this scale, given he doesn’t appear able to manage a piss up in a brewery?

Problem is, any successor would face the same problems so it would better he stayed IMO
Guess we’ll find out
