Yep, buckle in with yer ‘big boy pants’ y’all!
Or, look at it the other way; why should he resign and sacrifice his income because his boss has let him down? How do we know he’s not actively seeking a way out without leaving himself high and dry? He doesn’t deserve to be out of a job and income. When he talked about helping to improve on field fortunes he might not have realised how little influence he would have. He might also have been over enthusiastic about everyone being in in together (not Swann obvs), pulling in the same direction?

I’ll take that as a ‘no’ to the apology to Neil then. Lol, ‘Big boy pants’ indeed!
Some fair points awaywego, though I do think you’re blaming the wrong guy here. As you say Swann told him he was selling up. The fact it hasn’t happened yet isn’t Lee’s fault. There wasn’t a deadline for sale as far as I’m aware.

This ^^^
The way supporters are handling what’s happening at the club is a good reflection of society. Increasing conspiracy theories, division, and misdirected anger, witch hunts and scapegoats. It’s all on t’other side chaps!
‘Call me a cynic but it appears he’s got his foot through the Swann dynasty door now and daren’t say a word now.’
So, Neil’s requested to speak to the Board today and apologised for his ill timed tweet yesterday. Are you gonna have the balls to apologise directly to him for your insulting posts WG? No need to turn on him just because he gave you responses that you misinterpreted and ran away with.
He’s the ‘Chief Operations Officer’. He looks after off field activities and by and large is doing a good job against the odds. He doesn’t manage on field activities, Hill does and he reports to Swann. Swann is responsible for the sale, not Lee. Anyway, not that he’s going to take a blind bit of notice what you think. And let me get this right, you want Lee to leave his post, is that right? What positive outcome would you expect for the club if he did that?

Don’t tar us all with the same brush awaywego. There are what, less than a handful of posters on here critical of him and 20-30 on Twitter.

Maybe that’s why he’s not saying anything yet. Might want to discuss with the board first?

Oh, what the hell…
Plus he perhaps relished the challenge and loves the club?
Mr Hill survives because he fits the plan drawn up by Mr Swann.
Or it could just be complete mismanagement and incompetency like the last 7 years? Has anyone else seen this supposed plan? It must exist because more and more people are referring to it. I’m not saying there isn’t one, just wondered where we can view it?
Exactly, but I’m getting the impression this is all coming as news to some people
Yes, I know he did. He didn’t say Lee was in charge of Keef though. You obviously listened to it. You must recall the uneasy miffed silence on the airwaves when he said the manager’s performance will be reviewed by the Board. Sounded pretty obvious to me that the Board will decide on that. Correct me if I’m wrong but whilst Swann’s stepped back, he’s still officially on the Board isn’t he?
Did he take the job knowing he couldn’t do it properly? You’re questioning the man’s integrity here. I’d be more interested to hear what he has to say himself about it his tenure when it’s over. If he’s not gagged. Has he ever implied he’s involved in on field matters?

No denying it’s an ill thought out post that invites irrate responses. Some are just abusive though.

Not sure why it’s a great surprise that Keef’s reporting to Swann, not Lee. From what Swann said in his last Bru podcast I was left with the distinct impression that was the case. Wasn’t it words along the lines of ‘his position in the future will be reviewed by the Board’?
Crikey, don’t get BS started on his stockings and suspenders anecdotes again!
Why have we won only 3 of your 39 games in charge?
It’s because the players are lacking confidence, apparently

Lol, are you disrespecting Keef?

Stop asking sensible questions Tom!
Certainly some witchhunting going on tonight.
So many witches in tennis these days. Like that Goran, Ivanisevic!
Old Peter Kay quip…

The worst thing that can happen now is if Lee and Neil walk.
What do you want him to do? Wave a magic wand and make everything okay? He’s on the Board as a fans director / rep, he’s not running the show. Talk about misplaced criticism.

What’s this? Say it enough times and hope it sticks?!
They might though I doubt they could provide any real hard evidence.
They might. Though if you asked them for solid evidence i doubt they’d have any. Oh to be a fly on the wall when Hill and Swann were chatting today. What on earth is said between them?

Until he sells up it sounds like an option that might just stop another relegation
