    He seems to be the latest whipping boy for certain sections of the terrace, I can agree he’s not playing well, but name me someone who is currently?
    I’ll admit to being surprised to him being offered a contract extension in the summer with the plethora of right backs available to us, but I find the direct abuse aimed towards him as somewhat distasteful.
    Rose is injury prone and Starbuck is somewhat inconsistent. Ogle seems popular with the crowd because of a mullet rather than the quality of his play and JB has a catchy tune sung by the fans so also seems immune from criticism.
    If I’m honest Barrows wouldn’t be in my first choice team and I’m not claiming he’s beyond criticism but I don’t agree with the singling out that’s all.
    We all have opinions and he may not have the quality to be a regular starter but I don’t think I’d doubt his effort. Boo Butler for the selection, boo the team for overall performances but the singling out seems harsh / unwarranted in my opinion.

    Yes, but take into account a sizeable number of many supporter bases are absolute dickheads.

    Not Barrows fault but he should never have had his contract renewed. It’s either him or Butler who are going to get it in the neck and Barrows is the one who enters the field of play so he’s easier to get to.

    Butler is the real problem and the anger should be flung his way. Barrows and Ogle both should be let go. Starbuck and JB are enough for RB and we all knew this right from the off.

    All a huge mess caused by crazy player recruitment and no clear plan. All that’s happened is Butler went out and signed random players thnking he could mould them into a team but that’s beyond naive.

    If he had a clear direction and plan on where he wanted to go with the team this wouldn’t have happened.

    Butler said throw the abuse at him rather than a player, but when someone did he got banned for the rest of the season.
    Wonder if him and son grandson are there this season.
