It could be interpreted that way but their ego’s wouldn’t be able to resist in any case
Jeremy ‘what a silly bunt’?
The current system is bunk, for sure
For ‘wets’ read ‘sane’

Who else is going to vote for a Party leader if not the Party members in some shape or form Siderite?
Hang on, they presented the mini budget together, they designed it themselves without consulting the cabinet (though to be fair a shelf would be more more competent) but she doesn’t resign? ‘Right, I’ve been waiting weeks for this effin bus Kwasi – now get under it man! I’m off to see big ears again, bye!!’
Grovelling sycophant?

Whatever. I doubt anyone really cares what you put forward anymore tbh
Like speaking to an angry brick wall Siderite. Not worth the energy and in danger of the post being locked (like mine was other week).
Technically, that’s a four word answer, but no from me, nada.
In response to your other comments about the supposed ‘caring left’; when a Party has at it’s core ‘for the greater good’ and roots in workers rights, it’s more likely to be perceived that way compared to a Party with self interest, free markets and social order principles.
‘As opposed to you and your mates, Heath, who just agree with and thank each other all the time.’
I’m sure we’ve had this conversation in the past Bucks? There are a fair few occasions when this happens; it’s bound to when you have a number of posters who are, broadly speaking, left wing liberals, but it’s certainly ñot ‘all the time’ and I don’t believe any of us are ‘mates’. There are numerous instances over the last few weeks alone that demonstrate we don’t always agree and ‘thank’ each other. Of course, it’s more than likely that centre left, harder left, are only rarely going to agree with those on the right.
‘I will start another thread to put points forward to show an evolutionary “accident” worldview is unsustainable and only a creationist worldview can be the logical answer.’
Can you put some empirical evidence and facts in the new thread OP please?
Other themes like food eating…

I would agree. But I wouldn’t say it’s meaningless. Meaning is a human construct IMO. Having a child can still be meaningless for some people. Just the same as a meaningful life can be constructed around other themes that have nothing to do with children and God.

So where does that leave people without offspring or belief in God? A meaningless life?

Brief article about current recruitmemt problems in the UK, similar analysis to a R4 programme I heard the other day (can’t find it on BBC but it was presented by Nick Robinson so hardly lefty!). Many industry experts saying Brexit is a problem but one of numerous factors. The current immigration rules seem to be a bigger issue regarding recruitmemt (from what was identified in the programme anyway). Who oversaw these rules? ‘Quick – look for someone else to blame! I know – civil servants – hurrah!!’
Don’t think I could last 10mins tbh
Whilst we’re on praying, one of my favourite I am Kloot tracks. ‘Praying for rain…’
Anyone else remember this?

Non sequitur?
Say what??
‘However, I chose to leave because I wasn’t happy with the way the EU wanted to put more power into the hands of unelected bureaucrats.’
Ah yes, and just to point out, in the interests of fairness and balance, there were also many on the left that also voted to Leave based on that premise. I’ve been shouted down by friends and colleagues for criticising them for that, insinuating that really i thought they were racists. Nice eh? Some even have the audacity to forget they voted Leave in the first place! It was a dirty divisive battle.
The large amount of stories and memes criticising Corbyn, and the amount of MP’s that voted against his leadership bid proves that he’d become hugely unpopular with a large swathe of Labour politicians and the public. Whether or not you believe there was a conspiracy against him from Party colleagues and the media is your opinion but it’s not fact. Neither is saying the Tories have handed the next election to Starmer. But I’m sure there’s plenty of Labour supporters and members that would prefer him to fail so they can stick the boot in, as evidenced by the amount of tedious anti-Starmer content on social media. Ideologues on the hard right and ideologues on the hard left who arrogantly insist it’s their choice alone to decide if it should still be called the ‘Labour Party’ because it isn’t socialist enough for them. Times change. Personally, I and many other Party members are prepared to evolve for the greater good of getting the Tories out of power.
And now she’s blocked a public information campaign that was nearly ready to launch encouraging people to save energy. What an idiot!
Poor excuse to criticise the BBC. There will be numerous reasons they haven’t released details of which matches they’re covering that are not necessarily their fault.

Where there’s a lot of radio silence about anything serious, conspiracy theories, unsubstantiated claims and plain guessing will happen.
I don’t think it’s as black and white as that NI. There are conflicting interests at play. It may be that simple for some, others not so.
Broadly agree with what III is saying but not sure there’s evidence he actually does care about the fans. Certainly not the last few years.
