I don’t think JI was puffing his chest in some attempt to show how superior he is. He was responding to Gurny’s claims about how he’d act with people who aren’t white.
Possibly some lingering conspiracy theory about JI being les or ‘one of the jonnies’. Just a hunch.

Tend to agree JI though I would trust Simon and Ian to make the call they think benefits the club most, once everything is completely over the line.

I wouldn’t say Barra saying he was available and a few people saying, okay, maybe, is an obsession. You may have a point about the recent history of recruiting ex players to be managers though.

Yep, always seem to have one right behind me, gobbing off and spraying their germs over anyone in front. If nothing else, respect that no one else gives a flying f how angry you are every 5mins! Just adds to the misery.

‘(proper) Labour supporters’. What gives you the right to decide who is a proper Labour supporter and who isn’t 64? This is exactly the sort of attitude, superiority complex, of elments of the far left that are divisive, destructive and arrogant.as a Labour Party member I’ve canvassed in numerous general elections over the last 30 years, even with Corbyn as leader, despite my reservations. Because the Party comes first, not it’s leader IMO. It’s about the greater good (or should be). Remember that? If anyone on the far left thinks I’m not a proper Labour supporter because I’m critical of Corbyn they can do one. It may well be I’ve done more practically for the Party cause in my lifetime while they spent years tearing it apart with pathetic in fighting and agreeing with their mates in the pub.

I’ve said in the past that I miss Bucks’s contributions when he’s not contributing and that he’s grist to the mill. Without him, it would be a bit of an echo chamber. Sorry, off topic again. Back on topic, I heard someone on the radio yesterday excusing Hussey because the Royals also say ‘what do you do?’ when they meet the public (experienced it twice myself). It’s really not similar is it? Sounded a lame excuse to me. That said, as Siderite said, it’s a shame it’s being used to cause more division and a simple apology and honest explanation from Hussey would help.
