I’m assuming ubiquitous Patrick will be making an appearance on The Iron Hour Podcast, live and direct from the centre of the universe? It’s being filmed I believe, so the least he could do is say hello. The way he was talking, you’d think he owned the club!
Any apologies or humble pie eaters in this thread, get a shift on lads!

Aye, the ‘how do you eat an elephant?’ one you used on the other thread seems the most apt right now.

Ah, stop talking that sense rubbish Rene. Join the flock, stick your fingers in your ears and shout ‘la, la, la-la la!!!’ all the way to Ilkeston.

What a way for them to find out all this via social media. Lovely eh? But hey, let’s all get behind the man! Honestly.

I’m suggesting this is the thin end of the wedge I-A, as are others. It’s a view based on a number of things that have happened / are happening, it’s not a conspiracy theory.

Hilarious
‘He likes to talk shite too so he could be Ernest’. Careful now I-A, there are believers in fairy tales on here who could start twisting that little giggle in to one of those conspiracy theories you’ve bemoaned today. Just sayin like.
Oh my days…
‘SO FOR GODS SAKE LET THEM RUN THE CLUB’
In what way shape or form are doubts and criticisms about what’s happening to the club and direction of travel (Ilkeston here we come!) stopping them running the club? They are doing what the hell they like, regardless. Unless you can demonstrate to me they’re not?

Yep, more than happy to hold my hands up and say I misjudged Hilton, if and when the time comes. Untill that time comes I’ll hope for the best and continue getting to games when I can and paying to watch national league streamed matches when available

I-A, You will know from the non-football side how much conspiracy theories are a bug bear of mine. Please don’t confuse genuine scepticism and concern about SUFC operating 70 miles out of town, apart from match days, compounded with the failing 1899 scheme, credit card issues and the academy closure, thus resulting in further doubts about whether the stadium and land is going to be purchased fully or not, as a conspiracy theory on Trumpian scales. Cheers.

We’ll see won’t we. In the meantime, conspiracy throries aside, it would be appreciated if people weren’t jumped on for continuing to ask questions. If we stop doing that, its a slippery slope. Please respect supporter concerns and appreciate that not everyone’s going to glaze over and chant ‘in David we trust, in David we trust’. That’s not aimed specifically at you I-A.
If the Brexit referendum was a football club it would be called Scunthorpe United!
