Family Friendly Award, amongst others. Mainly during Swann’s era if memory serves. Praise often in response to posters criticism about the way the club was being run by Swann, then Hilton.

The late 70s mention was a nod to the SUFC financial situation in that period. With a little sarcasm.

‘The club don’t even reply to emails sent’

What?? Like none?! Blimey. Things are tighter than I thought. What we gonna do? It’s like the late 70s all over again. But with no posted letters

It might actually work well for both players and fans. If it doesn’t it’s not that drastic.

Just looked that up as I was there and thought he scored a brace? He did and McCann got another in a 3-0 win. Vaguely recall Hooper missed a few other opportunities though.

Well done BFB. Worthy champ for 4 years. Thanks to SST for organising. Enjoyed it. Might actually put more effort in to the NLN one this season!

According to Harry Redknapp (interview yesterday) it’s an easy job if you’ve got decent players at your disposal. Not sure how he’d know having not done it himself.

Not just about win percentages for me. It’s as much about the style of play and performances. Robsons win ratio doesn’t surprise me because his sides were not performing fantastically up until Italia 90. Venables had a short tenure so not much to go on there. Also got to take in to account the talent at their disposal. The options in 1990 and 1996 were not as good on various levels IMO.

Okay, since you won’t name the sources bpg, I’ve scrolled through the last few pages. I don’t think Audi, Superglue or Ooni Pizza Ovens are reputable sources. Surprised one of these sources wasn’t a garden centre.

Palace must be making big bucks from those sales. Great players but Eze amd Olise are quite injury prone so not bad business as they have a conveyor belt of young talent coming through

Sounds like Howe might be interested. Doubt there’d be many complaints if he got the gig?

“Total McCarthyist hysteria quote…” (Dubious YouTube video published by [insert name and date].

Yeah, don’t know if he’d be any good or not but could see him being announced. Attacking midfielder, ex International, respected by current players etc. Out of work…
