Have the Irish on standby to soften the blow when what we all expect becomes reality.
Those that can’t get anything else and that’s what we’ll end up with.

Yeah. I passed my test with QP.
Only last week, I was trying to recall the name of the trainer I had.
Came from Epworth, I think. A pal of my Dad, in fact.
Brain quietly disintegrating, here.Dave Coggan?
It’s all about opinions, based on my record with Mrs CT I’d say yours is more likely to be correct.

I’ve thanked your post les because I agree with you 85%. (Approx.)
I can’t go along with:-“Secondly, I think he did precisely the right thing trying to use ‘dead season time’ to blood loadsa youngsters and let ’em experience what it’s really like at the sharp end”
IMO it was too many at once and clearly, for some, much too soon. I fear some may never recover.
So it seems that appearance rather than ability is the chief scouts priority?

Both better than Pugh.

“Pugh & Wilson are the best young players we’ve got yet ones been released and the other is almost never mentioned”Not even close IMO. I have no great hopes that any of our youngsters seen so far will make the grade (and, yes, I hope I’m wrong) but Pugh was well down the list in terms of ability and Wilson didn’t stand out at Scarborough. Lewis & Moore-Billam look most likely to me.
Not likely to get any info. from the club mick, unless he sells season tickets or runs the restaurant.

1 & 3 don’t fit together Daz, and we’ve signed Boyce. 18 senior players would be a massive improvement on where we are now.

signings
And the tosser who signed them!
Could be still here?

Let’s hope we sign some average players, they’ll be better than plenty of last seasons who can only dream of being average.

They loved him in Slumdog Millionaire.
If more than 6 of those are in the first starting 11 we’ve got big problems.
Good, time to bring in someone better.
You’ve got the last word wrong I-a, you spell it c-h-e-a-p-e-r.

Plenty of opportunity for Rowe at RB based on Millen’s availability last season. Also we should not forget Hill’s “he’ll always play for me” quote when talking about Rowe before. Maybe Keith is building a squad.
Maybe not, just read mick’s post.

Or alternatively after Cyprus:-
“A section of the home crowd had chanted ‘we want Bara [NI boss Ian Baraclough] out’ soon after Andronikos Kakoulli scored his second goal in the 51st minute to put the visitors 2-0 up.”
and after Kosovo:-
“Travelling supporters chanted “cheerio” to Baraclough at the end of Thursday night’s 3-2 defeat in Kosovo”Pot kettle black comes to mind Cass, non football closed to new topics and replies Cass, didn’t you know that. Was promised to reopen several months ago, guess it’s a Scunny thing.
Never go on non football, just saw the heading.
“Up the Swanny 2” was that refering to this site, updated it but still no non football. Won’t Swanny allow it?.
If you click on ‘forums’ at the top then there is a non-football option.
Did you just want something else to moan about?1 user thanked author for this post.
Pretty sure what you mentioned is the COO/CEO responsibility.
And they answer to?
Do you really believe that ANY decisions are made, ANY action taken or ANY information released without the owners approval?
Is ‘gullible’ an insult or merely an appropriate adjective?1 user thanked author for this post.
Should have said “some Cods fans” as clearly the manager doesn’t see him as L2 standard.
Just ‘Eric’ would be OK. Some Cods rate him.
Pay a fee, Cass?
We can now can’t we?
Get Delaney in then.

Has to be balanced surely les. We saw the effect of a team of kids and a team of 30+ ers probably wouldn’t work either. We have Rowe & O’Malley (young but some experience) Beestin (older and experienced) and Feeney, Boyce and Taft (been there, done it) That looks like a decent base for a starting 11 (original Taft not recent btw) We could then probably rotate the youngsters two in at a time with a few more in the Beestin category or older.
IMO all of it, but not sure if “club” is the right word.

James Dyson has the cash and could clean up the club top to bottom.

If we signed Harry Kane (unlikely I know) there would be some unhappy posters so, yes, I’m sure you’re right about groans vs cheers.

Also a lot of players get released because of wage demands so it doesn’t mean anything nowadays players being released.
You reckon we’re paying more than Eastleigh?
He’ll save a fortune on travel expenses so maybe ha can afford to take a pay cut.
