Would be a waste of time IMO. When we were a league club and played friendlies against teams several levels below us then we sent a mainly youth team. No reason to think other league teams wouldn’t do the same to us, they have previously.

I think a couple of good match reports and the England C selection turned his head. Somebody should remind him that 1 player from each team HAD to be selected and he probably wasn’t in the best 100 NL players.

Beestin needs some consistency in his game. He’s one of several last season who showed, for 10 minutes every 2 or 3 games, how good they can be.
I’d be happy if Carver never played, looks as if he’ll never score. NLN could be his level but he’s never going to improve. A young EFL loanee would be my choice if we can find one with the right attitude.
