Fee not important, it won’t be much (3rd choice keeper at NLN club?) What could be important are the sell on details if Foster progresses as we all hope.

Christ sake, Swann binned off all the Directors and put his family in….you all whinge, new guy tries to put a board of Directors together to control the day to day running of the club and guess what??? you all whinge. It is actually becoming depressing supporting this club.

You really have to control this “you all” overreaction Pat. 3 or 4 people seem to be having a go at this news, understandable considering recent history I suppose However far more of us are happy to wait and see how it develops. No criticism from me.

I know lack of club updates are an issue for some posters, but expecting an announcement about this is not unreasonable surely.

Assuming you meant NO doubt I agree entirely. The problem then is, without success and as many times recently, we will end up with a new manager without “his” players which will be the excuse for potentially another dismal season. Jimmy has to make it work.

bill keep your money in your purse. if we start new season at Glanford park i will ask stt to delete my account and wear a tshirt with hiltons heed emblazoned across the breast. sadly i think my account is safe

Mr Hilton must be one hell of a salesman, he’s clearly convinced Vertikal UK, Systemise Fulfilment and Jackson Stapleton Accountants that we’ll be playing at GP. Is it possible you could be wrong? Iron Imposter maybe?

That was a fair assessment based on what we saw here IMO.

Tricky situation this. We have Whitehall and Elliott looking like first choice strikers (in the same team I hope) so the extra striker that we certainly need could be for a) back up or b) rotation depending on Jimmy’s thoughts.

Is this believable? Surely a more probable scenario is that no offers have come in and the players want to save face, as stated above Butterfield’s wage could be a problem. Consider Wilson’s behaviour at the end of last season, is it likely that he turned down offers from “a lot higher” to stay here? Young players don’t normally lack ambition.

What you say is ‘important’ versus what actually is ‘important’. No doubt there’ll be a bit of badge kissing in evidence too.

II will be along in a minute to tell us we’ve used the unpaid pension contributions to sign him.
Jimmy is going to have a lot of toys to play with, hope he was good with Meccano in his youth so he gets all the right bits in the right place and the finished article works properly.

“Every player that’s been brought in so far is of a high quality. ” Nelson.

High quality by NLN standards certainly. A note of caution, how many “quality” players have we turned to dross in recent seasons?

He plays for Hurst, not that good for other managers. A real matchwinner if on song and prone to spells of brilliance.

Would somebody with experience of P/T football only have the respect, as captain, of players with years of F/T (including league) experience? Just asking.

“AA is seriously underrated by a lot of members on here. He’s subtle and should post a lot more.”

He does post a lot more, just not as AA. When you’ve been around a while you’ll get to know him under all his aliases, could be due a new one any time now. He might even return to a former life if the mood takes him.

Should give the MF some balance.
As for enough MFs, IMO your list includes 2 squad players, 2 crocks and an unproven kid. Don’t forget Law and Clunan which should be enough.

Probably a pointless excercise, we have a history of signing players even if they fail the medical.
