I’ve always been an advocate of loan players being good enough to be guaranteed starters, otherwise it seems pointless. It’s unbelievable that we have a loanee, for the season, who isn’t even making the 18 man match squad.

Campbell is unlikely to come for crosses whilst being coached by “stay on your line” Mussy. He even tried to convince Matt Gilks that was the best way, fortunately Matt knew better.

Man U’s keeper was fouled, not confirmed by VRS which shows how cr4p VRS can be.

Just seen on the BBC that in 23/4 Woking did the double over us with two 2-0 wins.
    Clearly we owe them one!!

Subs clearly no problem for Sunderland U21s manager.
“It’s an outstanding experience for our young players,” Murty told the club. “We want to thank Scunthorpe because they’re a proper football club. They approached the game in exactly the way this competition should be respected, and that made it a proper contest.”

    Although this was puzzling:-
“It was a proper atmosphere tonight,” he added. “We had 17-year-olds playing in front of a big crowd for the first time”

Forest Green just made two substitutions 45 seconds into the game!

Another club using a tin pot competition for their own ends? Heaven forbid!

It’s what the PL teams are doing so why not? If the PL teams had to play 4 players from their previous league fixture they’d have thenm off quicker than FGR did.

If he makes Team of the Year then play offs would be guaranteed and Championship a possibility.

Begs the question why in this day and age is such a poor service being provided, I mean listening to different opinions it’s not just the visual streaming experience it’s garbage comments with the presenters lacking basic oral presentation and hardly any research to back up the basic facts about players and staff of both teams taking part, amateurish at best.

Are DAZN responsible for commentary or just pictures? We usually get RH when we’re at home.

Yes, Roberts gets the assist but I’m sure his pass was meant for Whitehall. I’m also pretty sure that Roberts would say I’m wrong. (Sounds a bit like the wife!!)

Second half highlights didn’t take long. No chance to review their goal either.

Agree, coverage appalling and terrible commentary.
Regarding the price at £20 per month, potentially for 4/5 games is a bargain surely?

Nothing much wrong with that IMO, there are posters on here who love a statement,
A couple of things stand out for me:-
“the fans. Your loyalty and unwavering support never went unnoticed, and for that, we are truly grateful” – Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
“In the summer, we welcomed Devon Riley to the football club, and she will be overseeing our events and hospitality sectors” – must have missed the big announcement, hope she pays her way but yet another off field appointment.

Club captain as he was last season I think. Team captain TBA but has to be a certain starter surely and that probably won’t be Boycie.

I don’t think, over a season, that we have the resources to compete with Carlisle, York and FGR. However, should we scrape into a playoff place, I wouldn’t rule out our chances in a one off game against them or any other.
