I found it a very tough watch, surprised (and delighted) we got 3 points. So many players way off what they’re capable of. Made picking Fitz as my MOM very easy. Not impressed by Butler this time either, did Jimmy Dean give the pre-match and HT team talk? I didn’t see much evidence of the flexibility of shape that’s talked about.
Roberts for Barrows – Scales moved to RWB
Fishburn for Brogan – Beestin dropped to MF
Law for Kelly – like for like
Rowley for Beestin – like for like
Evans for Whitehall – extra defender, hanging on.

Butler doesn’t see the introduction of subs as weakening the team (I suppose he has to say that really) But 5 subs gives a greater opportunity to take off somebody not influencing the game and replacing them with somebody that will. Fishburn, Brogan and Rowley have shown the ability to do that and it’s likely we can add Carlton to that list very soon. Good options off the bench for a change. (No offence to Evans & Kelly BTW but they have a different role to play)

He’s quite good at talking to refs but not in the same league as Steven Dawson!

Challenging for a CM start will be Clunan, Scales, Rowley, Brogan, Law and probably Roberts and Beestin (when Carlton is back) depending on formation. Is Braithwaite llikely to get a game? Next season could easily be his time when several of those mentioned will be OOC, will they be retained on much reduced terms?

Talking about subs I just remembered something I noticed. All subbed players interacted with Butler when coming off except Whitehall when he and Butler seemed to ignore each other. Trouble at t’mill? I hope not.

A word of caution, we won our first away game last season against a team that ran away with the league. Not again surely. UTI.

Very happy with the result of course and reasonably happy with the performance.
As for the broadcast, for me too much of Subbuteo sized players and camera was too low (I guess they don’t have a gantry) Also did I miss the team line-ups before the start or didn’t they bother showing them? The biggest problem was a commentator that made Whispering Ted Lowe seem like a shouter. Why didn’t he swap mikes with the summariser who was much clearer

Nothing in any Butler interview to suggest the signings were anything but his choice as far as I remember.

Try to log in with a password that uses ! as your special character. As reported above some characters cause them problems.

Yes, fulfilled all requirements as I said. Had an email from NLTV and now logged in with their help. Apparently a problem with certain special characters that it won’t accept. Thanks for all your help and suggestions, AB and his boys better do their bit now after all this effort UTI.

Thanks for the help. I have tried to re-register but am being told my password must contain …….. as usual. I have tried using various passwords which meet all criteria but just get the message “your password must contain……..”
Any more suggestions please? (Or a contact email address)

Anybody bought a pass to watch? I’ve tried to log in using last years saved details and they don’t recognise me. Attempts to contact NLstreaming failed as the email address I have is no longer in use, no contact details on website that I can see. Any help appreciated.
