Watson – 5 – no command of area, heart in mouth every time a cross comes into the box! Kicking poor.
    McGahey – 6 – solid enough.
    Cordner – 6 – as above.
Bedeau – 5 – think he could have done better with the goal. Passing poor.
Hornshaw – 5 – didn’t really do anything. Probably should have scored.
Hippolyte – 7 – looks promising and was our best defender at times. His hard work led to the goal.
Spencer – 6 – broke up play well but gave the ball away just as many times.
Vincent – 6 – tidy but no cutting edge.
Gilliead – 6 – completely wasted in the centre, get him back on the wing.
    Eisa – 5 – as above, not a striker!
Loft – 7 – MOM. Did well holding up the ball and goal of the season already…needs a proper partner!

Green – 5 – didn’t do anything apart from waste the ball in promising positions.
    Jarvis – N/A

Ref – 9 – hardly noticed him which is always a good sign!

Manager – 5 – came in professing to play attacking football and was a 4-4-2 guy…so far I’ve seen neither!

Not the best is it. Newport so much better on the ball and look to know where they’re actually supposed to be playing. Us on the other hand, all over the place…and when we do get on the ball we give it away cheaply.

Why do our managers over recent players love playing 3 at the back and these stupid formations? Cox even came in professing quite vehemently that he plays 4-4-2 yet hasn’t played it yet! Gilli and Eisa wasted when not on the wings.

The squad is worse than last season so if we finish 20th or above it’ll be a success.

You can sign up for a season if you’re not in the UK (or make it seem as though you’re not in the UK). Cost is £140 so works out about £3 per game (only league games are included).

So many of the squad missing, would be nice to have some sort of official update as to their whereabouts/injury status:

    Where’s McAtee?
    Where’s Rowe?
    Where’s McGahey?
    Where’s Clarke?
    Where’s Beestin?
    Where’s Mooney?
    Where’s Hippolyte?
    Where’s Turan?
    Where’s Onariase?
    Where’s Olomola?

How do we have this many first teamers out before the season has even started!?

Butroid is crap, always has been. We continue the trend of having to score 3 with Watson in goal to stand any chance of winning.

Interview on OWS…refers to himself as a big, quick striker who likes to bring others into play. Also played there against Watford, watch the highlights.

Stats suggest he’s another non goal scoring striker though. It’s almost as if we don’t already have enough of those.

Jarvis baffles me more so than Loft – 4 league goals in 52 appearances across the last three years, the vast majority of those appearances being at National League level or below! How have we seen any potential there!?

At least Loft has scored a professional league goal (Jarvis has a big fat zero in that department).

Jarvis is one for the U23’s surely? We signed him from Sutton United, who incidentally shipped him out on loan last season! Would be surprised if that’s the sort of quality we’re expecting to go into the first team.

Wasn’t just you Mick, going by Twitter it affected everyone. Mine kept dropping out every minute or so, tried three different browsers…all this whilst simultaneously watching the Rugby on BT Sport in HD without a single glitch!

Absolute shambles on Lincoln’s part, it was them providing the stream.

Very early days yet but last night didn’t really muster up any optimism. The new signings were either rubbish or ordinary at best.

Watson and the defence in front of him worry me the most, especially with the injuries mounting up as per usual!

One of the worst returns on a fiver I’ve ever had. Shocking team, shocking game, shocking sound quality and the stream kept dropping out every 2 minutes!

Age is nothing but a number, depends on who the player is. If we didn’t sign Musselwhite, Crosby and Barraclough in 2004 (all very much in their 30s at the time) then we more than likely wouldn’t have had our most successful period this generation!

If we’re stuck with Watson between the sticks we may as well throw in the towel now.

WG, I wouldn’t look too much into what a Luton fan thinks of Jarvis. Can you really seeing him scoring many in League Two considering he played for Sutton United in the National League last season scoring 3 in 25…was then deemed not good enough and shipped out on loan to Hemel Hempstead scoring 1 in 6 in the National League South Division!? Would love to be proved wrong but he hardly seems like a goalscorer!

Would imagine the “5 in” quote was relating to first team players. Can’t see Jarvis and Mooney being brought in as first teamers and will be in the U23’s, so another 2 potential signings is welcome news. We’re in desperate need of League experience so hopefully they’ll have some of that!

That team has relegation written all over it! Need a new GK, at least two fullbacks, at least two central midfielders and a decent striker.

Just have to wear masks? If it’s fine for big shopping centres and airports etc. then don’t see the problem with inside a football stadium.
