Never mind the nostalgia, but grant you it’s far more safer nowadays, your segregated nowadays can’t you remember having hooligans of both sides in the same end. tragedy chanting nearly all gone, racist chanting nearly all gone, grounds nearly all seating, women made more welcome obviously not by me but in general.
Better overall facilities especially the toilets, bogs back in the day can’t even remember a light being on in the fox street bogs.
So yes I suppose I have made it up saying things are the same now as they’ve always been, it was far worse back then.
Well for the likes of you anyway.

The same policies are in place at most if not all clubs, clubs talk a good talk but when it comes to action they’re found wanting.
Football is really not for you and I understand why you don’t go to games anymore Deerey, though I don’t think your old enough to remember it as Cass alludes to, I’ve been going for 56 years now and it’s the same now as it always as been.
Well actually not in the 70/80 there was no segregation and was a lot more tasty.

Truly does Deerey, one saying he’ll have a meltdown when he turns up at Scunthorpe, the abuse the bench got from scunny fans.
Bit harsh on forums Deerey, you do realise you moderate on one of them.
Several of them on there sad that the chant was heard so for me I’ve no reason to not believe them, ” savage is an arsehole was another chant” and was called a grebo.

From one of Carlisle’s forum twould appear the abuse was ” there’s only one Robbie Savage” you know the rest.
Bit old hat but hardly earth shattering when it comes to abuse.

Come on it’s only a opinion.

Unless it’s about one of his family members dying or ill recently, ps don’t know either way but that wouldn’t be fair.
Doesn’t appear to be gay or a peodo so any abuse there is ok, being Welsh is fair game to throw abuse, haircut fair game, his wife takes it up the wrong un fair game, f or c fair game.
Can’t really think of ought else that wouldn’t be ok.
What language or words do consider inexcusable Deerey

Absolute arsehole read the reports from both sides, he was winding up Carlisle fans before the game giving it large when twice equalising plus the full length of the pitch celebration when equalising against us all of which is alright so long as you appreciate what goes around comes around.
Bout time everyone grew a pair football is to sanitised these days.

Your obsession with the keeper’s came from the fact that we lost our number 1 to Northampton, and therefore needed a new goalkeeper to take his place.
Pre season turned up and Butler announces Maison will be number 1 even without having another keeper in the building, that showing the backup won’t be as strong as fans would want to see.
Enter Rory Watson and the fans get said answer.
In the meantime preseason gets going and Maison was showing nothing that fans who went to watch to say that he was ready and should be number 1.
Don’t get why you can’t except that fans will target anyone who they thinks not up to the mark, Beck and others are fair game when they play Rene will testify to that.

Watched their goal on Saturday now and you could say good save, but also you can say what’s he doing diving to the right and an easy push out for a corner, but ends up somehow sending it left into the danger area for an easy tap in, I’m with what’s he doing, deffo a mistake but not alone in the whole goal event.
Move on shit happens so long as lessons are learnt.

Didn’t realise at all, I just saw the photo that was put up 5 hrs ago, no one else had mentioned it.

Wonder if that’s what SDH57 meant about not wanting him in the dressing room or anywhere near the team lol.
Anyway fair play to him for putting it out there even if he was so so wrong.

Even better for the fact that Hartlepool had already tweeted that they were playing Accrington in the 1st round.

And don’t Boston need the money? Just the same.
Logic in football doesn’t go hand in hand especially for us, banned from Chelsea because their fans caused trouble at home! Scunthorpe beat Wealdstone 0-0! and there’s more.

If you let them get away with it they’ll just carry on doing it.
Not in the least bit bothered about the money it’s about us the fans, many who aren’t getting chance to watch their team in our local derby this season.
If we can give them a full stand then so could they poxy though it is.

Not every club get 600 standing they have a moveable segregation barrier and have apologised for the inconvenience to their supporters.
Obviously not interested in the extra money at their own supporters expense, that’s fair enough but scunny should reciprocate only allowing 650 of their fans when we play them at home especially when they’ll be at least 1500 spaces will go begging, not like it’s a real problem to give us all the stand.

Was right though he ended up wearing one, and I didn’t tell them to go home only encouraged. Depends which protests were acceptable in the end the pitch invading and tennis balls did the trick.
Thinking back I can’t believe we stayed till halftime at Harrogate.

Nagh they’ve got their £24000 to help out.
The fa cup is not just about the club getting money in, it’s for the fans and their dreams, only seen us beat the cods at their place once but would take them every time.
Don’t forget the club could have earned £16000 in the NL cup if they’d showed the slightest bit of interest.
