That’s 2 people in week that are withdrawing extra funding to the club that they would normally have given and that’s just from Bru posters.
Everyone has to have a serious think on what they really want, and certainly the trust group who meet the board next week clear objectives and no sucking up ala virtually everyone who meets Trump.
I just want the club to keep the Trust in the loop with the trust being the only recognized group from others outside the club if only the Football supporters association the football regulator will also recognize them.
Question to all.
Would you want a fan board member if he was privy to something like the Fc100,000 scheme but unable to say anything to the fans because of agreeing confidentiality. The club have a working share capital of £8,900,000 broken down from £20 a share give 445,000 shares Michelle acquired 92% of them from Hilton (he paid £3) which equates to 401350 if I remember correctly, leaving the other 8% owned by every Man and his dog respect to most of them.
Now how much is the club really worth! As much as someone is prepared to pay for it, still comes with all the debt Sharp balked at, and know doubt some more loans to pay back from what we’ve being led to believe.
I’ll take a guess at £4.It isn’t MK but the club sell shares at £20 a pop, when the board were given theirs.
Like iron insider said £100,000 would only get 1% of the total shareholding, the Wharton’s have over 20,000 shares between them with no place on the board.
Mentioning no names but 2 family members of one of the board have 6150 between them I wonder if they purchased them or gifted them you can make your own mind up.all of which would be more than the trusts 5000+ which if it came to voting.
End of the day MK buy some shares if you want to be a part owner of the club, lots of others have and i understand the sentiment behind it, but £1000 for a piece of paper that in reality is only a piece of paper that the minimum purchase price £100 will get a similar piece of paper.
As owner you could always give the trust a covenant to use them in their holding but at least would always be yours.
Me and you both were willing to give £1000 to purchase the ground if that’s what it took to get the ground away from the owners of the club, and that be any owners, but honestly I can’t see the merit in the trust buying especially when the club aren’t interested in the first place, gift horse and all that.Well if I understand correctly the trust have only bought 50 shares up to the last confirmation statement since it’s start in 2012, hardly setting the world on fire.
But whether by knowledge or not at the time they set up 64s last post shows the importance of the trust being able to use the community asset to stop Swann just selling up has quick. And allowing someone else to come in.
We where only told yesterday that we had the fanbase.
We had a bigger average attendance than all but 3 clubs in the NL last season.
We had the income from said attendance.
We have a squad that is now deemed big enough to compete in another cup that we didn’t have to enter.
We have a wage cap that allowed us to keep Whitehall and Roberts. Can’t really remember ever having ‘our’ club.
We are in the NL and no one should expect world beaters, what I will give is forgiveness when the team go out and put in and give 100% but end up not getting a result, unlike many a game last season when they didn’t.
We can forever carry that boulder up the mountain it’s what most football clubs do.
On surviving relegation you’ve set the bar to low, that will affect the attendance and the income, mid table would be ok but let’s push on.
The 5% is fine, no more no less than we take when we sell other teams tickets for them, virtually stopped over the last 2 seasons most are online now.
The good thing at the moment to our knowledge, fanbase are taking their cut from the club and not the fans.
Certainly got to get rid of the 3 who regular work in the ticket office can’t afford to pay out for both.
And by the looks of things should be the cheaper option in the long run, that’s got to be good news for most of you.Did you see yanks response again Ironawe, within hours they put everything out about the perpetrator.
And certainly beat everyone to false social media posts. The club invite the unity group down to the attis,
Where’s the invite for the FSA recognized group the Trust. What’s Michelle doing (and it was Michelle not Ian or George WG) talking to them about future fan engagement, she tried after the failed after the fc100,000 saga inviting fans to come forward for the club to engage with, I say failed because we’ve never heard a sniff since.
Not that I’m a member but even I recognize that the group and the only group they should be talking about is fan engagement is the Trust.
Anyone know what happened to the official supporters group shares after it was disbanded.Depends on what you call support, went to 90%+ of home games last season probably 10+ away games where I get behind the team.
Financially very little just 2 under 18 season tickets this season so £150
The club itself, meaning the board and most of the non playing staff very little support if at all.
Did get behind Turnbull (indeed one of his biggest champions when he came back from Peterborough) when he fed which now turns out to be bullshit. I’ll always be there for the fans comes to mind lol. Then eventually threatens fans with a knock on the door from the police.
I tend to get behind the team (performance permitting) and unlike many others on here who believe it’s fair game to boo a player on to the pitch, in the first game of the season, that after a 3 month break, and you question my support.
What do you call support? But Michelle did give them their shares, Michelle was all for the fc 100,000, Michelle helped bring the CEO in, Michelle allowed or was instrumental in shiting on Danny, Michelle was the one who fed us the narrative the debt was almost paid down.
Michelle saved the club no doubt, but all the shenanigans off the field she has to take the her share of the criticism, she is head of the table and the one with the most shares.
The club sent the link out for it to give season ticket holders the heads up when Tamworth were putting them up for sale, then some numpty on tuther side put the link up for all to see got slagged off then he took it down.
Fair play to the club for trying to look after STs the best they could.Just got ours what a f about, their site overwhelmed saying I hadn’t got a account, when finally in it then says I didn’t meet the criteria same with the daughter who was trying then hey presto she got in and we managed to get our 4.
Robbing bastards charging a £1.50 booking fee per ticket.I’ve heard of them Ironawe.
But on a serious note very sad indeed.
The NL have a lot to answer for letting this go on all summer, Southend fans calling it yesterday saying where’s the £1,000,000 bond they had to find like they had to. they only wanted a level playing field in all honesty and weren’t being nasty.
To then a couple of days later to what they’ve rolled out.
Absolutely disgusting from all involved club and league.Cheers Ironawe, life’s an education, not really into music but vaguely remember the Move, but the song never heard of it. (Will have a listen now)
I try and keep off the subject after telling Deerey that the song, “There is a light that never goes out” was a song by the Smiths lol.
Really like that song now though and was great to almost sing along with pre Chester game.Me and Greg Wallace would be hard to get a fag paper between us. I know it, the wife knows it, and kids know it and by now twould hope you know it to, and by the way there’s nothing wrong with Greg Wallace.
Wonder if all Millwall fans are like him.
So Greg if you please NIIs that because you’ve had that chip removed from that shoulder 64.
2 mile run, 1k on the rower, a few weights and finished with a 1k swim and that was just this morning Cass.
Even saw somewhere to park my bike if you know what I mean lol. What don’t you believe about the gym Cass.
Most of the threads are meaningless on all forums, time to shut all forums down.
On this thread it’s swings and roundabouts on what will make us happy or not, set mine out and why shouldn’t we criticize if they fail them and in the same breath praise if they exceed them, it’s close season and the manager is assembling the squad and already praised him for his forward recruitment should we not comment on them because it’s meaningless? No of course not it’s a footy forum maybe it’s not for you TJO, have you thought of watching grass grow or watching paint dry.
Find it hard to believe they need breakfast at the time they arrive at the ground, when I’ve been down there it’s around 10 o’clock.
Argh well it’s another non playing member of staff to add to the books.Watched a lot of women in porn films, do like watching England women’s rugby though, athletics and swimming.
Whoops not forgetting those at the gym either but that’s more on the perv side.Didn’t watch it don’t like the womens game. but we’ll done england and I’m sure all of you who do enjoyed it.
I will relish in the win, england all the way even in tiddlywinks.Whatever top honour can be given to a foreigner the manager deserves it, for winning not losing like the last men’s manager did and got.
Yes if we are to compete in the NL cup, first game on the 12th I believe and I take it we are going to compete the points are where the money is, short of the RB for a start probably need a couple more just for cover alone.
July 26, 2025 at 7:19 pm in reply to: To Those Who’ve Been To Pre-Season Games – Name Your Starting Lineup. #307641That’s the most positive assessment of a game I’ve read from you NI, been to a few games at the same time up north as you and can’t think of a positive game, so am buoyed by your assessment.
Know it’s only a friendly but it’s the first playing mainly the starting lineup within reason. There was Access to that closed shop through the fan director, but was just sadly let go without replacing him.
Maybe the trust could ask Michelle and the board to have a fan director again lol.
Bound to agree after all the current owners are so much better than swanny who did allow one.The trust have 50 shares already so why not just donate money to the club instead, it seems you ironing board just want the club to receive money so do they really need the shares.
He paid £2 more than what Swann originally said he’d sell the “Club” for so that was the handsome price he paid, £3 for 401,036 shares Lol.
And the trust want to potentially buy 5000 for £100,000 beggars the question “Why”But the bigger question is why don’t the club snap their hands off, is it that political to them that they don’t anything to do with the trust.
Question to the trust. (Or it’s members)
Would they be prepared to buy shares off someone else who’d be prepared to sell.their allocation.“Allow the directors to purchase more shares” Lol.
What makes you think they purchased any in the first place, they were given them as were others.
Hilton did pay for the shares all 401,036 of them and an handsome price he paid as well.
Almost certain that the directors will not pay to buy anymore they’re £20 pound a pop you know, well to the likes of you me or the trust.
Directors buying more shares Lol.
They’re putting their new money in as loans so they can get it back unlike monetary worthless shares.July 25, 2025 at 5:19 pm in reply to: To Those Who’ve Been To Pre-Season Games – Name Your Starting Lineup. #307607Not enough of them have played a full 90 mins to make that call, so anyone in the team from last season plus Eze and Simmonds who we haven’t signed yet.
“Sold” being the key word, she’s given so many more away, but they were hers to give away and that’s her prerogative.
I know you didn’t mention it but I take it you read the club statements on equal share’s.
