What’s to plan if you don’t attend any matches.

The national League have voted for a wage cap next season,no figures yet but believed to be £900.000 maximum, to be introduced at the next AGM, can’t believe it will stick though as the EFL wage cap was deemed illegal.

I must admit,it’s very strange to see how pathetic supporters are at home games- virtually no protests, just a resigned acceptance.

Do you think the council would sell the fans down the river and allow the stadium to be redeveloped into something else, most councils see football stadia as a community asset. Swanns dealings with North lincs council haven’t been the most amicable in the past so may struggle to get planning permission.

You got what you wanted though Mick 4 years ago when swanny let Alexander go, if only!. Oh what lots would give for a team that plays boring football (supposedly) but keeps getting points.

Just goes to show even when the club do something well some will not acknowledge it, very sad indeed.

Doubt it very much after all we were at home, and as for Thanatoser he would find it hard to articulate to scunny fans his bizarre reason for being there.

One statement Deerey, read loads on Bonser and Pomlett went as far back as 1995 Walsall club accounts, any further back you had to pay £3 for each search so didn’t go any further, bit of a saddo but I do check the facts, there for all to see even you Deerey. I did say the inference to it being “our” puts a different take on it.

My comments were based on facts, not opinions, Walsall FC have never had the freehold of the Bescot or Banks whichever you like to call it they have always rented, an inference to it being :ours:as he stated puts a totally different take on it, and more likely to persuade posters on here it’s been bad when in reality it hasn’t, so if Thantos or anyone else posts they can be expected to be challenged.

I did think Thanatos would have give his thoughts on the game and his experience, guess he’s a sore loser.

The plan to get your stadium back was agreed when Bonser left, they negotiated options to buy the freehold, read Pomletts statement 29th July 2019 from your club web archive. The rent goes to fund Bonser and his brothers pension pot. No away fans supposed to be allowed in the Iron bar but don’t wear any colours and you’ll get in,once in the fans will be fine with you and sure they will like a chat.

Resigned to never see a home world cup again in my lifetime, sad state of affairs, not that our bid wouldn’t be up there with the best, but votes are bought these days and the fa aren’t prepared to go down that route.

Still a better football ground than that soulless place of our home ground.

Their ex chairman also offered the freehold to the incumbent Alcy , but couldn’t take him up on the offer due to lack of funds, the offer is still there, separating the ground from the club made it possible for Walsall’s new chairman to take over, that would be the same in our case.

But from what I am to believe a new owner would make everything rosy again, attracting bigger crowds enabling the acquisition of better players. There problem solved.

Walsall have an option to buy the freehold back, The new chairman as being there 3years now, he is not going to buy the ground back he doesn’t have the money so who is?. Would seem a lot of money to rent the ground at first glance, but was only 8% of Walsall’s revenues so doesn’t look to bad in the round does it.

There you are NLI they don’t own the ground and pay handsomely to play in it,and we are playing rent free at the moment until we make profit.

Scunthorpe United FOOTBALL club RB, that is what you would be buying. Just like buying Derby county minus the massive debt.

Lose against Walsall and then win every other game left, will just leave us short of the playoffs. Will you be drinking Miller Ironawe? sure NI will join you in a pint.

The first club to ko Sunderland out of the fa cup before the third round, first club in the world to build a cantilever stand, first English club to move to a new purpose built stadium (well certainly in the modern era).

I would post Alcy, but very few want to engage. But yes hope I he gets his comeuppance and gets along enough jail sentence so professional football wouldn’t come into the equation.

Which bookies does Mr Hills friend use, I’ll have some of that 9to1 for relegation, it’s an imaginary friend really though isn’t it?. Just managers spiel he’s coming out with. We know we’re in the shite Mr Hill that’s why you were brought in to do something about it. Please get on and do it.
