Well 17 wins in a row it is them.
Learn to keep your gob shut Mr Hill the fans turned up like you asked, even after 6 defeats on the bounce, to see the same old same old. Fans expect and demand better than that.

I wouldn’t trust anybody’s opinion if they can’t make their mind up which sex they are.
For now!
Swanny must be loving Hill, encouraging more supporters to attend, even got UNITY into his pre match interview. And all that after losing the last 6 games, should keep his gob shut Imo till we win a few then ask. But then again I wish he would just stick to managing the team.

Fair play to them they just rung about purchasing tickets 2,05pm, should be a bumper crowd she said the ticket office has been non stop and had only just started to answer the phones, hence my wait.
Don Rowing was shite here and the same at Barnsley, at one time he introduced a membership scheme which was needed to buy a ticket, alienating casuals should have made it easy to get in not harder. The Wembley fiasco season ticket holders first, said members second, casuals last, a total lack of understanding of football and it’s fans, families, clubs, friends, workplaces wanted to sit together at Wembley even though we could have had 40,000 tickets Don would have non of it. Just type in on Google Don Rowing Barnsley ticket fiasco to see he was just the same there.

That’s something your not allowed to question, gods are gods.
A effort of marketing was made in 83/84 against Millwall a good Friday game same scenario facing relegation, get yoursen down and you can pay on the gate, yes the actual gate, hundreds more turned up only to find it had been turned into all ticket and the queue 100 yards long the amount of people just turned and went home or back to the pub. And we were fed all that shite by the good old evening telegraph.

There was a big uptake from bruers this last year, don’t know whether they got anything out of it, would be nice to hear from them.
You can have all the marketing in the world, but if they won’t pick up the phone to sell the tickets it won’t do any good, rung yesterday no one there, same today, left message on answerphone but very disappointing and just another reason why I stopped going regularly to the Glanny sands siro. Will post when (if) they get back to me. PS this is not a Swann thing it’s the way our club as always been run,the worse times though were under Don Rowing.

Its only to food banks and charity’s from what I can see.
The only marketing we want at the moment is winning games, quite simple winning games attracts more fans, don’t need any false dawn’s getting people to turn up in there droves only to be left disappointed that will do no good at all, when as more fans guaranteed results.

Laurie McMenemy used to the same at Grimsby Deerey, taking the players round factory’s to benefit both the players and the employee’s, mainly the players though to see what others had to do to earn their money and what a privileged life they had.

They were very lucky last year (just like us) 10 pts in the last 5 games of the season, but yes we will have to start winning games, I hope the first is on Saturday but not the bee all and end all of games at the moment, a draw wouldn’t be the end of the world.
Must be nice for him to feel safe, he should know better after last year’s escape.

That offer of 2 free children with 1 adult is on all the time NLI and has been for years pre swanny I believe, as for the telegraph it is only printed once a week you do realise that don’t you so would be hard to acquire more than one voucher,Let me remind you once again scunny put out the most tweets of a football club in the world so there’s your marketing. I do think the club could make more effort with the ethnic minorities and go round factory’s and give a few free tickets out to encourage them to become supporters.
Got to try and smile Deerey, even though at times I get in a really dark space about it all, sure everyone is the same.

Lose on Saturday BS and win every other game we will probably just miss out on a playoff place. Get a grip man.
Let’s put Lincoln in that box as well, £5.1 million wage bill unsustainable in the long term, ok at the moment while there filling the ground but we all know that won’t last forever, just enjoy the good times while they happen I know I did (and I do mean the swann era)
When you look at all the teams line ups in div 1 in 60/70s most teams had a lot of class players, best era IMO.
Hull recalled.
Never seen the Stretford end so full Ironawe, the only time I saw a genuine sway in there. The programme from that game is quite valuable, has programmes go.

But we stayed up Mick and they went down, there’s your answer. Exactly what posters are wanting us to do again spend and accour debt to stay up.
What and not get a transfer fee for Loft. I never imagined we’d ever get anything for him.
Uptheiron would be the only one left if we weren’t allowed to question the good name of Scunthorpe United. lol.

Defend them all you like Deerey, But I joined this forum in 2017 and never posted until August 2019, and only posted then because of the disgusting booing of our substitute coming on to the field, but we’ve done that story to death and doubt whether me or others will change our opinions.
It would be nice also to have site rules available to read.
