Hope he goes pretty much full strength tbh and takes it very seriously. We changed most of the team last season at Newcastle Town, and it was one of the most embarrassing performances I have ever witnessed.
Keeper secured. He is a Premier League youngster and U21 international. Not quite the experience I was expecting/hoping for, but probably tricky to sort at such short notice and he comes highly regarded.

What did this guy know?

In real time I thought it was a horrific challenge but a few mates that have seen it back said he had eyes for the ball.

It would make sense to call it a draw but the National League doesn’t do common sense, so fully expecting to have to replay it.
Aside from the fact it’s going to cost the club financially for another overnight stay, I wouldn’t be too disappointed. They were pretty poor and we should have seen it out. I’d fancy us for three points if we were full strength when we went back.
On another note, relieved both players are seemingly on the mend. I haven’t had the benefit of a replay, nor do I want to see one, but I was of a similar opinion to Andy as it happened in real time.
There was no profit, and costs were incurred due to the use of a marketing agency when they realised ticket sales were incredibly low. That sounds very much like a loss to me.

Sadly cannot make Thursday as I am away for the evening, but I have submitted the below questions to the Iron Hour.
How much did the Weekender cost to put on and how much revenue/profit did it generate for the club? Have all artists/contractors now been paid by the organisers? How much revenue did we lose not having any home friendlies? Why is there a new CCJ (August 25) for £4898 – what is this for, when will it be settled and does a CCJ leave us at risk of a transfer embargo? What can be done to rectify the pitch, which looks to be in a poor state already? Would the FC100k partnership have gone ahead if it wasn’t for the fan backlash?

The companies belong to the club doctor and his brother, who have been very supportive of the club in recent years.

Mentioning no names but 2 family members of one of the board have 6150 between them I wonder if they purchased them or gifted them you can make your own mind up.
I can confirm they paid in full to support the club.

If I have inferred she would sell selectively it certainly was not my intention.
As you may know, she has sold some of her personal allocation to a number of fans and groups including Winterton Iron, the Iron Trust and myself. The club have also invited all fans in to discuss becoming a shareholder or to increase their shareholding position on a number of occasions.
BTW I’m not against the share builder idea. I do think plenty of fans would get behind it.

MH purchased 92% from Hilton, and gave 60% away to Roj, Ian and George. She is also keeping her 20%. If the additional shares are sold, they will all have equal shareholding.
She has been selling the additional shares via share days and donating the money back to the club, but will stop at 20% percent.
I would imagine if the Trust have money to purchase more shares they will be able to do so at a forthcoming “share day” as they have done in the past.
Michelle has sold shares to the Trust on several occasions from her personal holding.

Check the confirmation statement at Companies House. I’m not wrong.
As I understand it, Ian, George and Roj have 20% of the club each (90k shares). As of the confirmation statement in February, Michelle had circa 105,000 shares, and she has the casting vote as chair.
Michelle has already sold some of her personal shares to fans over the past 18 months as I purchased some myself. I would imagine for any investment (Trust or otherwise) each member of the board would have to agree to equally dilute their shares.
I certainly sleep easier knowing she has the final say and really hope it stays this way.

I believe they have enough for the players and a few extra, but nowhere near the quantities required to put them on sale.
The worst efforts I have seen in many years. Surely the third strip won’t be amber and black?Fixtures added nice and early for the first round. Those that would like to take part can sign up here:
Thank you.
The first round of fixtures will be added tomorrow morning. We had 8 sign ups the last time I checked, but we still have four weeks to go!
For those that have never played before there will be five fixtures per SUFC matchday where possible (League and Cup games).
You can sign up at the link below. Thank you for your continued support.
Looks like five on that photo to me
A massive thank you to everybody who bought tickets in the raffle. 100% of the money raised (£615) will be put back into SUFC.
The draw was done randomly with Grok and the winner was picked as Ted Flanagan. Congrats, Ted! We will be in touch to arrange delivery of your prize.

I was told “If it’s not a success it has an impact on all involved” by the promoter, but that they were taking on most of the risk.
It’s a Google ads beta test. Will fiddle with the settings tomorrow to turn this off.
Believe it is the group that were behind the UK arm of Hummell that went bust. Big risk and a kick in the nuts to Kelme who have been absolutely brilliant with the club for the past couple of seasons.
Watch this space…
He’s out of contract and been training with us for some time. Would be a good move for all parties I reckon.
I received an email last week offering me 50% off tickets, so presume they are selling very poorly indeed.
Sharp did apply in the summer.
He tried for Nicholson earlier in the season too
Very much doubt it is a paid role. On LinkedIn there is a post where he describes Ian Sharp as one of his closest friends.

Staging a load of tribute bands and local acts will never ever attract 10,000 people for each day. In fact, it’d be lucky to get 500 – 1,000. It represents a massive financial risk.
I’ve seen around 15 acts on the line up… things can only get better…
There are a few one hit wonders and blasts from the past. None of the acts appeal to me in the slightest. I am hoping they have a few decent headliners up their sleeve, otherwise I fear it will flop. -
