I agree it’s a bit much but every bit of money he can get for the club debts is a bonus in my book. Does it smack of desperation on his part, yes it does but we do need it.
Maw will be the one up for 2024’s Outstanding contribution to desperation award. I suspect he’ll get that at Pride Of Britain awards.
Look, on a serious note as I stated above, if he raises another 20k then fair play to him….we need all the help we can get, desperate or not !

Butterfield will be back against Darlo but I think Whitehall has to sit out 3 played games, could be wrong though !
or get money in to pay creditors
Same fans will turn up, just at a later date. Get Whitehall and Butterfield back in the arranged game. Increases our chances.
Where isn’t after Scunny????
Fair point. To be fair though Cheltenham is actually a nice place.

The club appointing key people in key positions is the way to go. No coincidence the two positions appointed are both financial so the thinking is the extra money generated by those two will both surpass the money spent in hiring them.
As stated above, you can’t expect one person to keep doing 3 and 4 different jobs. We needed some structure putting back in place behind the scenes and that’s exactly what’s taken place.
Glyn Sparks was very highly spoken of from York City and did wonders there off the pitch and Harness trusts Louis Butler so you would have to say they are spot on appointments.

Cheltenham’s a lovely place, cassidy !
I read they had interest in their best midfielder who’s netted 11 goals, Kyle Finn earlier in the week. Fingers crossed they lose him as well.
Butterfield and Whitehall will both be missing vs Tamworth. They are both back next game !

After some minor detective work there were Ethan Young and Nat Wallace so I suspect Rance will be the only surprise player wise !
Hilton never paid the contract up so we’ve been stuck paying him every week due to still holding his registration.
Was Rance the only player that Hilton agreed to pay off at the time ?. I’m just wondering if there are one or two more who we’ve been paying.
I honestly thought he was paid off. We been paying him all this time ?. If I remember rightly, he was on a fair wedge too.
God above.
The remit this year is promotion, if we fail that then he has to go, but until then he has my full support
If we can’t gain promotion with the squad he’s got then something is wrong somewhere. I doubt we’ll keep him if we stay in NLN. I just can’t see it.

Warnock ?
No doubt he’d manage in NLN. I’d go with Nelson personally. I was pissed off when he was over looked as manager before Dean came in.

You do come out with some absolute waffle at times.

If Dean doesn’t get promoted with this squad of players serious questions will be asked because this is without the finest squad of players to ever compete at this level with the most support.
Oh and we’re a full time out fit.

Butterfield, player manager once Jimbob’s contract expires.
Let’s not. Possibly offer him a coaching position but a lot to ask to stick him in as manager with no experience. I wouldn’t mind Nelson back, I thought he was fantastic with what little he had to work with.
The style of football was very easy on the eye at times and gave us freedom to attack.
Not quite that bad just yet but we’ll see. We need Butterfield and Whitehall back A.S.A.P

It is a very big to the team without Smith and Butterfield, and the stand ins are not good enough, Beestin and Wilson do not seem to play to their real ability
Beestin was poor but has just come off a sizeable lay off so he won’t be anywhere near match fit. Law has proved he’s good enough for this level but was poor today. Shame about Wilson because there is a player in there but struggles with end product. The only way of getting that into his game is game time and he isn’t getting it.
I will admit though that with out Butterfield and Smith we looked devoid of ideas.
I just hope once we get Butterfield back to knit the play together that we don’t miss Smith too much.
Wilson and Roberts on out wide against Tamworth ?
I hope Dean picks Max to go alongside Evans from now on too. Boyce has done well but prefer Kougoun.
Well I can’t see it being any better next season, can you ?
This is a section of the Happy New Year Statement.
“We’ve managed to get our club back, we’ve managed to get our ground back, and now we strive every day to bring this great football club out of a long-standing transfer embargo due to the sheer number of football creditors that were left for us to take on. This isn’t an easy fix, and is costing hundreds of thousands of pounds, and it is only through the help that you, the football community, the business community and many others have given, that we have been able to tackle what we’ve achieved so far. That journey is still ongoing. Our aim is to have cleared all outstanding debts by the end of the season, so we can go into the summer with a fresh start on the business front”
We’ll have to wait and see. HMRC bills Hilton lumped us with will be up to date Mid Jan, which is obviously any time now. Settling the HMRC debts have cost a pretty penny so when that’s up to date the money spent on that can go to the many football creditors.
“The outstanding HMRC bills we inherited will be cleared and back up to date in mid-January, something that has taken huge chunks out of our revenue in the last three months”
As I said above, we’ll have to see what happens.
A shame we may pass up such a great opportunity to bounce straight back.
Lack of squad depth and a transfer embargo hardly helps.
Dean says Butterfield is suffering from concussion and may be out for 2 weeks.
Bit of a bummer as he’ll miss Tamworth match too. Beestin will have to come in.
I think we’ll win 1-2. Fancy law and Elliot to score.
Pugh and Sembie-Ferris will be a lot more use to us if and when needed if they come with regular game time in our own league.
Much less use if they haven’t even been in our match day squad for weeks.
I’m happy for us to leave them out and call them back if needed. Works for us.

Sembie Ferris makes sense because believe you me if Whitehall get’s crocked and Elliot is needed upfront and we get an injury to another wide player, we’re in deep poo poo.
Pugh has a 24hour call back anyway.
I don’t know how true this is but from twitter we were paying out 15k a month for both Smith and Jenkins. Smith going by twitter was on over 2k a week.
Even if we called Sembie Ferris back to make sure we’re not light, we’ll still be saving a large amount.
Cliff, you don’t need to remind anybody on this site about our current plight when it comes to the amount of debt still owed. Cliff, believe you me, we all know.
The loan agreement has a 24 hour recall clause in the deal.
“We wish Tom all the best for his extended spell away from the Attis Arena, with the nature of the loan holding a 24 hour recall within it, should the Iron require to activate it”
Whether Hereford liked it or not, they’ve agreed to it.

2 x Danny’s
Law
Roberts
WilsonLet’s say one’s injury and one’s suspended… that means nothing off the bench!!!
Law, Roberts, Wilson to choose from and Elliot can play wide right but again leaves us light up top If Whitehall is ever crocked. I’d recall Sembie Ferris personally right now to take Smiths squad place.
Will he play a lot, probably not but I don’t want us to be in a position where we have to potentially really on Beestin moving to right wing.
Positive as ever Rene, keep it coming !
Cliff we’ll end up leaving him on loan and then recalling him if needed as we have a recall option. If anything we could do with another striker as that’s the only position we’re a little light in.
Not really on the cards with the financial mess we’re in but we could do with one. Bennett and Carver can stay out loan, I wouldn’t want either of those two back.
From the Hereford OWS:-
“Hereford FC are delighted to announce the extension of Tom Pugh’s loan spell until the end of the season.”That’s sorted that then.
24 hour recall option in the loan agreement so he’s there to call upon if we need him. We could have done with him against Boston to bolster the midfield. Shrimpton’s not the answer in games like that when we’re being over run.
That fee agreed was purely down to Hilton. Jenkins needs to go back, we’d be better off saving his wage and recalling Pugh.
