On a personal note, I would like to pass my thanks to Interested Bystander for continuing to pass on information which certainly allowed me to build up an informed view of what was going on.
And also the people behind Ironbru and particularly the moderators as well everyone who posted screenshots of Facebook, Twitter etc, which I have no wish to join, but clearly a lot of this was played out there.

He has gone up massively in my estimation. It was poor last season, he knew it, promised better and delivered on that promise.
He has been conned by Hilton as much as anyone else, if not more. I can’t imagine how he feels getting his dream shot as a manager then having the rug pulled out from under him. I don’t mind admitting I shed tears listening to his interview after yesterdays game. I don’t blame the players yesterday, they were out there for us and Jimmy and must be emotionally drained after this week.10 users thanked author for this post.

Just been shown a clip of Jimmy Dean on Sky Sports News today. I really feel for him and I think I was wrong about not going tomorrow. I’ve donated to the fund and will be there tomorrow.

I already said in another thread that I wasn’t going anymore whilst WHAM is there.
The banning issue just underlines that.
I can’t go and support a team built on not paying debts, ccjs, unpaid wages, pensions, ex players etc.

I think this is the end for David WHAM. He hasn’t got any control over the situation so he’s blasting any ammo he’s got left with these banning orders.

The great shame is that right now the stadium still exists and Swann does want to sell it, albeit seemingly not to Hilton. If in a years time, GP is being turned into flats or whatever else and we are part time, ground sharing at Gainsborough and looking at a future of NLN and below, or totally out of existence, then this period – Now – will be the point it could have been saved, but it will be too late.

Maybe use the £2million that was set aside for the new training facility.
